  • I'm playing this song right now and it's such a beatiful song! <3

  • thanks, have a music history test tomorrow on renaissance pieces and this is very helpful

  • @karistjan1

That´s fine, but this is no renaissance piece, but a baroque piece.

  • Awesome!!

  • @Musiker81

    Thank you!

  • @FlyingBanana10241

Read my description, please, for the information concerning microphones and re-recording.

  • @FlyingBanana1024102

Of course, these matters of interpretation (tempo and dynamics) you mention are matters of personal taste. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment. (This is my old version, by the way, there is already a re-recording here on my channel with better microphones since a longer period.)

  • that sounds great .

i'm playing it myself now .

    its the nicest music ever.

  • @MrTheDidier

Thank you for your kind comment. I wish you much success and pleasure with this piece!

  • Great. I was wondering how you make your piano recordings? What mics, recording interface, etc. thanks.

  • Thank you for your kind comment. I use a pair of Neumann KM 184 mics for my recordings, a sound-card of m-audio and a Phonic Am 220 mixing console. But this recording above is still made with my old dynamic microphones, which are not of a good quality. That´s why I have re-recorded this piece here for my channel with my better mics.

  • Sounds good! I just started playing the Preludium (my father has a huge Bach sheet and classical collection) and it's some of the best music ever written. :)

  • Indeed, it is! Thank you for your kind comment. And have much pleasure and success with practising!

  • das schönste präludium wie ich finde

ich lern es gerade auf der gitarre.

    wundervoll <3

  • Danke. Ich wünsche viel Erfolg beim Spielen dieses Stücks auf der Gitarre. Ich habe es auch schon auf Gitarre gespielt.

  • @musicusblau

NO it was not Schubert, it was GOUNOD. Schubert wrote another Ave Maria.

  • Of course, you are absolutely right, somehow I didn´t notice, that "Sprengladung" wrote Schubert, I was always thinking of Gounoud´s "Ave Maria" somehow. Schuberts "Ave Maria" is an original composition by him with completely other harmonies as a base for the melody, which is as beautiful as Gounods melody.

  • no problem :)

  • I second that. :)

  • Schubert: Ave Maria :) but no problem

  • i am trying to learn

    you play very well

how can i download mp3s of these recordings?

  • Eine seiner besten Präludien. 5/5 Sternen.

  • Nicely Done...now let's put some Hip Hop into it......REEEEEEMIIIIIIIIIX!

  • Thank you! Yes, why not, it´s a cool idea, alas, I don´t know how to play Hip Hop on the piano. Is this possible at all?

  • Beautiful, this brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.

  • I'm always happy if someone is touched by Bachs music, which always reminds me of our higher origin.

  • is this the bach piece that was used on the metalist season 1 finale?

  • I don´t know, sorry about that.

  • i'm not sure, but i think so

the finale of the season was very touchy, somehow, exactly like this kind of music =)

i love bach, he was a genius!

  • Thank you for listening and your kind comment. I love Bach, too, and indeed he was a genius and something like the "father" of the classics and romantics.

  • awesome!

  • Thank you!

  • Wonderful music, wonderful interpretation. Love your other recordings as well.

  • Thank you for your kind comment.

  • A little too wavey on the tempo...but it's still great!

  • Thank you for your opinion and your kind comment!

  • Beautiful and sensitive interpretation.

  • Thank you!

  • Great work. Thank you for sharing this recording (one of the better versions on youtube, imho!).

  • Thank you. I´m glad you like it.

  • The fluency and the accuracy of your playing

serve the clarity of your conception of this

music (and generally of all the music you play).

We must add a very good piano and a first class audio quality.....

Bravo! and best wishes for your ambitious project on WTK. But don't forget Mendelssohn, another author you play IMHO

    masterfully.

  • Thank you very much, Sandro, yes, I love the Songs without words and will post some more of them.
