SONY 52'' LCD AND TOSHIBA HD PLAYER

I bought a sony bravia 55 inch that failed within 18 months - the company stated that this failure was related to a known manufacturers defect, yet they wouldn't replace it. Manufacturers warranty is only 12 months. I spent several hours on the phone for nothing. I 'm very disappointed with SONY!!! Don't buy unless you are willing to potentially flush your hard earned cash down the toilet!!!

you need a blu ray player, or a ps3, cause hd-dvd sucks and it didnt win XDXD

wow, you sure are missing out. Using an hd player for a sony is like using kerosene as fuel in a ferrari, you really aren't getting your moneys's woth. (blue-ray, less compression, almost twice = life-like viewing.) Great choice of tv by the way!
