  • Wow! Thanks for uploading this song - brings back so many memories of friends just sitting around ... and ... and ... listening to jazz.

  • This...greatest band in Jazz..period, they were reading each..others minds...alomst telepathic..sense...Philly Joe , paul . Red.....wow!!!!..tight as gnats arse....and Miles..playing tunes with such an innocent sound....and big...Tenor sound..of John..to contrast....wonderful..!!!

  • 最高です!ジャズって感じがする

  • Miles Davis> The Man> The Myth> The Legend....RIP

  • These guys played swing the way that it was meant to be played. It's no question why Miles chose to go off in such a different direction later on in his career - he had already dominated the territory. There was nothing left to be done; this... is IT.

Buffoons like Marsalis think that they can play swing better than this. There is no topping this - we can only move forward. Swing will never be played better than these men played it.

  • @Parvenu333 Buffoon? well i think thats kind of strong, look i love miles as much as the next trumpeter , but i think Marsalis just enjoys playing this stuff. kind of narrow minded to knock him

  • @Parvenu333 this is not swing man. other than that, yeah i understand your point, i think you're right

  • My favorite Miles Davis outfit is this first quintet. I love this. Thanks.

  • awsome genius... gees jazz!
