i found a secret in this game, when u start, gear straight up into gear 4 (like just flick the trigger 4 times right at the launch) and then after a few seconds it gets up to the speed of that gear and makes u way faster than everyone else, and then continue gearing as normal

Mate, great start but TURN YOUR ABS off cos your just overbraking and in the corners they are opening a HUGE gap so either try and under brake (Y)

ABS OFF will only make it worse, it's the only driving aid that makes you quicker when turned ON.
