  • Why are you so racist towards indigenous people, like the slaves, and Spanish people that had no choice but to be conquered, raped, pillaged, and complettely overcome by a cruel religion and "white man!" As a Native American, believe me we did not need the "white man" to come to our tribes, and give us measels, the pox, th flu, and kill our herd, rape our women and condem our children to a life of exploitation and racism! Please educate yourself, before you speak of such things!

  • for all those who ask for a cure the best cure that is out there is your own state of mind. if you like you about to have an attack the best thing you can do is relax and like he said let what ever happens happen. try taking a shower, or drink a glass of water and walk around the house till you calm down. just keep telling your self you are ok and everything will turn out fine. i hope this help if it did thumbs it up

  • nice thinking man!, I've always thought like that, when I always like to put in my mind that my mind is able to control my feelings, even because I learn a lot of it at the gym, because to workout and gain muscles fast we have to learn how to control the muscles, to make them engage using the mind

  • If he really knows what these attacks are about... if he has realy experienced them.. he should be ashamed trying to make money out of it !!!!

If you realy have a working solution to help people with this awfull dissorder... just post them man !

  • Well, I need a cure, but haven't understood a thing. I'm like Geert, his panic attacks started on his 9 years old, mine started a month ago, but I'm 13 years old. My parents are divorced, and I live with my father, but... I'm afraid to tell him I got panic attacks every night because in a few days, I go into hospital for scoliosis (83 degrees) surgery, and I'm thinking continuesly that I have to solve this problem until I get into the surgery. So, you see I'm in a so difficult position. Help me!

  • I am a survivor of severe physical abuse, and all these years later I suffer from panic attacks. Just yesterday I was at the supermarket when it came over me. I left quickly and while walking home, for some reason, I grew angry and shouted (to myself) STOP IT! FUCKING STOP IT! You know what? That really helped, because the panic fled as fast as it came on. I haven't checked out this guys methods, but my contrary approach worked pretty good. Attack it head on. Fight back.

  • I stopped watching this tripe 40 seconds in. "If you believe things will be okay, then your anxiety will be gone." Riiiiiight....I don't think this guy has any experience or education in this area, huh?

  • @iamheasyouaremeandwe

    He's right though.

  • @jigoku66 Explain? Also, have you yourself had experience with panic attacks? Thx

  • @iamheasyouaremeandwe

People usually don't dwell on a potential failure, that's why they don't have panic attacks. They manage to keep their anxiety at an acceptable level by not overanalyzing things. I know this because I have panic attacks and agoraphobia in situations in which most people would just shrug and move on with their lives. btw I also have social anxiety.

  • @jigoku66 I agree. Thx for obliging me. I know Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a huge factor for me in reducing the frequency. Basically, every time I experience precipitating anxiety concerning a specific situation, I substitute in positive thoughts and imagine the best possible scenario in that situation.

  • So really, this guy is saying not to be anxious beforehand--to keep your anxiety in check at all times.

  • thank you guy u save my husband's life because i was about to kill him..... he was driving me crazy... he had all the symptoms a guy can have for every little thing a person can have........ and now after ur videos i hope his better ......

  • thank you so much...it really helps..im not kidding you deserve an award.

  • Read the books of a late Australian Doctor CLAIRE WEEKES.I have had Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia for 20 years and I was also an Alcoholic.I am panic free for the past 5 years but it was NOT easy.I quit Alcohol, changed my diet drastically(no coffee,no sugar,no stimulants)I walk every day,do Yoga 3 times a week and do Budhist meditation every day in the morning and in the evening for 25 minutes each.I took Paxill and Klonopin for 2 years and I am off all meds since 2008.Read CLAIRE WEEKES books!

  • *sigh* Why do you have to buy every single program... why cant It just be free for you to read or watch on the internet ..

  • So the long term answer is to aim for security; financial and emotional and then anxiety will no longer have reason to exist an will literally seem ridiculous. In a sense we do anxiety as we have nothing better to do. We need to get something better to do and the passion for that activity or purpose will eliminate anxiety.

  • Great advice in this video. In fact this is what we have done all our lives when we overcome childhood fears etc. Much of the time though anxiety is an alarm bell that is singnalling some conflicts in our subconscious and we need to bring to the conscious and to deal with those issues otherwise the alarm bell will keep ringing alerting us to the undrtlying problem. You may therefore find that one sympton will go away but you then create a new one to manifest anxiety once more.

  • I have to thank you for this vid, even at the begining (after watching for abaut one minute) i feelt relaxed and my thought's of Anxiety attacks dissapeared.

    Thanks again!!

  • true dat! you are absolutely right. This is the ONLY solution to panic attacks! coming from someone who had anxiety issues and came to the same conclusion... stop medicating yourself, if its not necessery... face your fears

  • It is commonly believed that panic attacks happen out of the blue, without any reason. It can happen to anyone at any point in their life. Many people experience one episode of panic attack. However, others go on to suffer from panic disorder. Panic disorder is characterized by several episodes of panic attacks related to past traumatic experiences, existing stress (mentioned above) or something else.

  • True that man.. whatever happens happens fuck it totally made me open my eyes.

  • thanks really good video

  • What he is saying does work. But you have to meditate everyday saying I can't worry about such and such and say let it go to yourself, whatever bad thought enters your head while your meditating. You have to make it a habit or you'll relapse over and over.

A few years back when I was in college I was having panic attacks and after awhile I said if I die I die, and I meditated everyday saying it and they stopped, I haven't had one since.

I do still have anxiety, but not like I had before.

  • The last time i had such scary feeling was upon waking up i felt a cold chill and my left foot was going numb my Blood pressure was 150-160/90. That's when i went to a neurologist /psychiatrist who says I have panic attacks. He gave me anti depressants. Since then I haven't had any of the feeling i had before, though I still get those dizzy-like confused feelings at malls, but not enough to get me running out scared. I feel dizzy confused though at these places, Do i suffer from panic attacks?

  • I am not sure if I am having panic attacks. I was confined in a hospital with a blood pressure of 180/110, i was having palpitations, was very nervous, I didn't want to sleep coz I might not wake up anymore. My ECG was normal with that high blood pressure, my 2D echo was also normal, nothing in my city scan too. I read that panic attacks results to agoraphobia but I can go to malls, though I get some feeling of confusion and a bit dizzy in those places, but I bear out. I can stay on.

  • I agree this may be affective with agoraphobia. My panic is awakening with difficult breathing. The only thing that has worked has been slow deep deep breaths followed by making my mind active on performing an activity. I find empowering myself minimizes my anxiety and panic.

  • just had my first attack today and it feels like hell...... could it possibly be just a phase or will it keep coming back?

  • doesnt make sense to me

  • if i could forget the anxious sensations or the sensations from previous attacks then i would never get them again. my attacks are about worrying about how i feel during an attack.

  • great video I've been dealing with panic attacks for years an they just get worse with each passing year.. What you say is true and its the only thing that helps me get through them..

  • I have watched a couple of his video's and it is so true, the more we fight a panic attack the worse it gets. My first panic attack took place in a car wash. I felt trapped in my car.

I must say that cutting out of sugar and like he says using the right kind of thinking has made a difference. Also, I notice that I can bring on a panic attack just by thinking about it so therefore it shows how powerful our thoughts are.

When I feel a panic attack coming on, I tell myself, I will get through it.

  • i hate it :(

  • Comment removed

  • ive noticed mine when i started smoking ciggarettes

  • I'm 17, and I notice a hell of alot of the comments are posted by people of my age group +- a few years. Weird.

  • @finbomartini i know, i've noticed it too... i'm 18, there's so much people of our age who suffer of panic attacks, anxiety and so on.

i've seen it on the net, but even in the real life: so many people I know suffer or have suffered of anxiety... something's wrong with nowadays life style!

  • Thanks you so much for making this video, i feel more positive about my anxiety now. Ill keep watching your videos.

  • i hope this works cos i cant take much more of this anxiety it sucks

  • THIS GUY IS PSYCHIC I SWEAR! i can identify with everything he has said

  • I actually used this method on a Supevisor that was deliberately causing me to have anxiety attacks. In the end I thought, I am NOT going to let her effect me anymore and it worked.

  • guys i have hyperventilation and feel dizzyniss often and cant just sit and watch a movie , and when i go to sleep i dont want to cause i 'know' im gettin attacks, but is this a permanent diseas or will it eventually go 100% away? pls reply thnx

  • @r0bbiinn it will go away i promise! iv over came it :)

it can come back and it did for me cause i started worrying about the problem again cause a very bad experiance but trust me it is so possiable to over come it cause my dad and sister have over came it! hang in there

  • omg thank you so much. ive kept on feeling these little tiny pains in my lower abdomen and i though it was my appendix and i got a horrible attack. and i got better yesterday but then it came back today. but i'll take these tips into consideration. whatever happens, fucking happens.

  • This guy is one of very few who seems to have a proper understanding and cure for anxiety. He is VERY knowledgeable on the subject. One needs to face anxiety, not run from it!

  • am scared of going to sleep too!!!!

but this helps anxiety cure ! look it up

    :) its good

  • nice one !

  • tanks 4 the advice

  • I had bad anxiety when I was a child but in the past week its been triggered twice and doing this has helped me quite a bit, thank you very much!

  • Yes and No. Firstly, yes, absolutely, let go of the fear (whatever happens happens) will let go of anxiety or panic disorder. But as you say you must believe this 100%, not a smidge of hesitation and all goes away. Secondly, no, it's not a "disease". It's a habit, a habit way of thinking. You have to retrain yourself to think "whatever happens happens". This is not easy, it takes a lot of time and patience, but the more your practice thinking the above, it becomes your new habit.

  • OMG I LOVE YOUR HONESTY YOUR soo helpful you know that..I have a Fear Of Tinnitus since i have Tinnitus, So whenever i go to sleep or wanna go to sleep it bullies me and i cant do anything about it thats why i have a fear of going to bed Sometimes...what do you do about something like that?

  • yea ive had it since i was 16 then i beat it myself 3yrs later but now its back someoen mentioned it and i remembered i had it now im startin over :(

  • same here ):

  • I've been battling social aniexty for quite some time now. I really envy those people who never had such issues. Some days it gets realy abd and others not so bad. I wish there was a legitimate cure for this. Say popping one pill and you're cured for life. One can only dream..

  • same here man. im 18 and ive been struggling for about 5 years now. my nerves are going crazy but i try my best to cope. im having an attack right now even as i type this. be strong

  • You're still young with your life ahead of you. Stay strong. I heard good things about oxytocin and about it being a potential cure for shyness and anxiety. The bad news is this "cure" is supposed to be out in 2012. In the meantime I purchased some 'oxycalm'. When I test it out I will write my findings here. See you.

  • LASIK MD lol :) slt mon ami

  • good advice but it's easily said

  • Thanks!

  • This was very good! I loved it! Thanks for the advice! I feel much better now about combating fear or panic where ever I am now.

  • 0:45 is what im afraid of...

hes completely right but its so hard to make urself think like that.

  • my bother had a seizure right in fount of me a few days ago... and ive been shaking and feeling like ill have one myself. this is really helping me....

  • I also agree with littlemoster18, fear of death is universal, it is a 'mind"trick that can help you get rid of anxiety, and it would work in many cases, it just doesnt erase our primal fear states on which our body would react to. Adding to this wonderfull informative video I would also like to say: facing, fealing, reliving, letting go, surrender are also very important, most therapies dont include feeling, but merely use cognitive tricks. it is all true 4 me, but partial.

  • Very interesting, claire weeks discribes also this and even eastern philosofy's: what you resist, persists, so it all sounds THE the to do, i agree also, I think in the plain example you gave, it IS important to be aware of our true mortality, use it as I thought only is cognitive and not wholistic. But it for sure is one of the most important things: allowing, making space, letting it be there. Not so easy thouh!

  • Anxiety attacks made my life hell exactly what this guy is explaining! its NOT a plesant feeling at all.. those that never had anxiety issues are VERY lucky!

  • @AxelTiger i'm 18 years old and it started today..you have no idea, i cant take it lol

  • @SweetKooshy

    sarcasim?

  • @AxelTiger actuallly...no, i thought 2 days ago i was having extremely bad anxiety pain so i was checking around here on youtube to see. turns out i have a pulled muscle in my chest that's been in constant pain for the past 3 days -.-

  • Yes, that's great for this guy, but the very definition of panic/anxiety is that your mind will not let you not take it seriously. 14 years, tried it all. Booze does not work.

  • what he says is true in the core - its best to talk to a therapist also who can prepare you better for dealing with this most unpleasant issue. it can ruin your day no doubt at all - however if you are no longer responding to something that stresse it will loose its grip. what you resist persists.

  • agree marijuana doesn't work either

  • weed actually gave me my anxiety.

  • @awayfromhome weed gave me anxiety as well. i had no anxiety or panic attacks until one day i was smoking a blunt and i thought i was having a heart attack and was bout to die. after that i still smoked weed for a while and had a panic attack everytime i smoked weed so eventually i quit..but i havent been the same since before i smoked weed but ive learned to live with my anxiety issues...i no longer have panic attacks though..

  • @wyteboybb same here man thats exactly what happend to me

  • same man

  • @awayfromhome me too. when i smoked weed for once in my life. im stuck with anxeity and its sooooo hard

  • It also takes time to retrain your brain to think like this. Ive been useing this method givin to me by my therapist and other books and im slowly getting better. It takes ALOT of time but it works.

  • thank you for this. i started getting panic attacks a few months ago. i've always been so calm and relaxed, but i feel i'm more afraid of the actual symptoms more than anything else going on in my life. it's hard to tell yourself during a moment of panic everything is going to be all right no matter what, but if i can tell myself that every day before an attack occurs, i become more peaceful always. thank you for sharing your experiences. i know this is just a phase of life we will all conquer.

  • i am taking Vilift for my depression and anxiety disorder. it's really working for me and i love that it doesn't have any side effects.

  • Saw this yesterday, I did this technique today with a few occasions where I was a little worried, seemed to help quite noticeably. =)

  • I think that in the situation as you described, it is NORMAL to feel the fear and anxiety of dying. I would not be able to think in the way that you suggest and just let it go...just sayin.

  • excellent .thank you it works.

  • i have an anxiety attack every sunday because of scool plus i have clinical depresion so i am prone to anxeity i cant sleep on sunday nights so i stay up all night drinking coffie and it makes things wrose but i need to drink coffie so i can be a wake in school somebody help me please
