yes waterbase is a bollox..color matchin is the only asset it has, but solvent base is the real deal, so right on there' biwon' with you all the way..

Every garage manager loves it, the waterbase that is, but ask the painters and they just dont like it

Onyx and all waterborne sucks ass.Dont let anybody fool you.Been shooting solvent for 20 years and a year with waterborne.Its horrible in coverage,matching and drying.Tried every method every which way.Its gonna be a tough road in the paint world unless your chip with all the time in the world to do a job.In real life its a battle to get 4 cars done in a day.

@biwon Hi, In California you have to use water base paints, water paint base are a lot better, I used to paint heavy equipment like, excavators, tractors, cranes, dump trucks and trailers., and many much more. There's no big painting booth to place these equipments inside. The solution came from Caterpillar, that yellow paint worked for me much more than great. I did a very profesional job in all of them.
