  • On a ten minute time frame I was allowed to speak up front at my church and I pretty much spoke the same words. They were mainly about caring and saving the lost from hell and having compasition on those who are perishing and you know what happened when I finished my ten minutes? They called me "naive" and that I should open my "mind" to other "topics". Thanks Teacher...I'm sure that's exactly what Jesus would have told me...?

  • Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible did not only teach the sweet, he preached the sour too... Jesus Christ was and is not all prosperity, he preached about hell too. A LOT of preachers teach PROSPERIITY ALONE,know dear ones, there is Something Wrong. If a preacher is Not going to preach the whole council of God the Sweet and The Sour(Good and Bad) they are Not Preaching The W ord of God.

  • I agree with what Paul Washer said in this video. Its all about Sharing Christ and His Amazing Love, its All about doing what we can to get people saved, its all about Walking the Path of God daily as musch as possible,Its about Living the Christians Life and doing so in Truth, keeping the faith, its all about Christ.

  • @MegaPW1 Yes that is So true...When you have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God living inside you, you would understand..but alot of people don't and they rejects the True Mesage that is from God. I'd remember listening to One of Joel Osteen's Preaching on Youtube..It just got me so Confused! And when I was looking for that one Word about People like Joel O. And the Holy Spirit said. "Those who Pleasing themselves, and not Pleasing the Father or Son"

  • @ jakesandersonaudio - The Jesus of the Bible also said: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. Matthew 23:27 - Christians, like Jesus, can get angry, and sin not, and you fail to realize Paul is right about preaching in the prophetic or you are nothing.

  • Paul Washer is a prophet, he is my favorite preacher!

  • paul washer is speaking the truth, and joel osteen does seem to try too much to get a worldly kind of attention, but it isn't my job to judge him as a preacher. i know that it says that teachers will be judged harsher than anyone else, so all i can do is pray for big preachers like joel osteen, but i'm sure paul washer isn't perfect either, so thank God for the grace of Christ.

at the end of the day, Paul Washer isn't my teacher, Joel Osteen isn't, Jesus is my teacher and thank God for that

  • The sound of people preaching like this is too much for me to listen to. The same old running in circles stuff. I don't know... maybe it all has its place... everyone's on a journey. I don't think I'm in any better or worse place in my journey.

This is why I can't listen to this: What is the agenda? love? no.

The Jesus of the bible you read taught that you need to love people and love God.. love yourself. That people would be drawn to God when they saw the love his people had for each other.

  • First off, I did watch this...but relating to the title. Christians are supposed to die to self and esteem Christ. Self-esteem stemmed from new age theology I believe (not positive).

  • WATCH HIS INTERVIEW WITH LARRY KING THE GUY SKIPS AROUND TRYING TO BE A PEOPLE PLEASER...I'LL SAY IF HE WONT...REPENT & TURN TO JESUS CHRIST OR YOU WILL SUFFER GODS WRATH..PLAIN & SIMPLE,OH AND I REALLY DONT CARE WHO YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN BECAUSE THIERS NO OTHER NAME THAT WILL SAVE U BUT THE NAME OF JESUS.GOD BLESS U ALL

  • AS FAR AS JOEL OSTEEN HE SAID IT HIMSELF THAT HE DOESNT CONSIDER HIMSELF A PASTOR...HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELFS...THAT MY FRIEND IS A SURE TICKET TO HELL

  • I wonder if Peter or Paul heard Joel Osteen preach what they would do.I guess they would write a strongly worded letter to the churches warning them of another Gospel

  • This building is about as simple as it gets. Nothing fancy here!

  • Thank you Paul Washer...for speaking the truth.

  • you are such a blessing sir. preach on

  • Seriously man. Bamasun1, you are so far off the mark that it is not even worth answering all of your watered down and mistaken statements about this sermon.

  • This dude has hate behind him, and likes to hear himself preach .

  • @simplyred1013 He's hating? Are you serious? The man is just speaking truthfully but with passion and you call this hate? What part of his message was false and contrary to the Bible? I'll help you... ..None of it. This message is a message that was meant to wake people up so we wouldn't fool ourselves concerning our walk with God in any way shape or form. It's a call to the people to serve God in spirit and in truth! Sad that in this age a rebuke and a strong word can't be taken. Focus on Jesus

  • @simplyred1013 NO HATE BRO JUST GODLY ANGER FOR WOLFS IN SHEEPS CLOTHING LEADING PEOPLE ASTRAY IN THE LAST DAYS JUST AS THE BIBLE TEACHES....WAS THE LORD HATEFUL WHEN HE TOSSED UP THE TEMPLE?NO HATE BRO JUST GODLY ANGER...PICK UP THE REAL NUMBER 1 BEST SELLER THE BIBLE & STUDY GODS WORD...BUY THE WAY NOBODY SPEAKING GODS TRUTH WOULD EVER HAVE A BEST SELLER WITH 3 MILLION IN PRINT BEFORE RELEASE...IT JUST DOESNT HAPPEN IN SATANS WORLD...BE BLESSED IN CHRIST & WAKE UP PEOPLE

  • POWERFUL

  • paul washer is not preaching for or against any material thing. he is preaching against making the gospel about material things. i dont think paul washer cares if hes using cutting edge technology in a nice room or if hes up on a box in another country yelling at the top of his lungs (which he does as well).

  • wow i have never heared anything like this preached in anny church that god can and i hope he doese break me in a milion piese and reformes me and wont share me with anyone even vanity fair geting me ready for heaven wow i feel so much of the holy ghost as he preachs im eating this right up my soul delights in this cus its not earthly its heavenly its frome the father i pray that god doese in my life evrything that was preached by paul today AMEN :)

  • Preach it Pastor....

    AMEN

    Pastors, not motivational speakers

  • Beware of the many false prophets who teach regularly on TBN. These wolves in sheeps clothing teach of a Third Movement classified as the Third Wave of Signs and Wonders that is comprised of Word Faith Doctrines that make God subservient to man due to the belief that God must operate under certain spiritual laws dictated by men. Please stay away from these heretical teaching, may the Lord rebuke these false prophets that practice these detestable doctrines!

  • I like this guy. But did'nt like when he talks down to Joel Osteen! Why we should talk down to our fellow christian brother? Why?

  • Because Joel Osteen is a heretic. Rather than preaching the depravity of man and the saving grace of Christ, Osteen talks about living your best live now.

  • because it is not biblical, needed to correct

  • If Joel Osteen does not preach the true gospel, then he is no brother. He is a deceiver. A wolf dressed up to look christian. Be careful.

  • @HarmonyinJesus ::: What is it that makes you think he is a deceiver?

  • @ruzteez... well ruz maybe theres another way to talk about the Osteen situation but if he dosent comment about him then who will... look at the JO interviews especially the Larry King one... its bad... i think we are in a desperate time so guys like paul washer are needed. i go to churches near where i live and they are all nice people... but talk about anything controversial like homos abortion satan and hell and their faces change. there more or less saying stick with the smile and handshake.

  • @ruzteez the problem with Joel Olsteen is he doesn't preach Christ. Remember just because someone says they are a christian doesn't make them one. Just like standing in a garage does not make you a car.

  • Because Osteen preaches a false gosple and he prob isn't even a true Christian at all

  • Pied pipers of fraud. How can you possibly be religious in this day in age? Religion is fraudulent, mythological nonsense. Religion has been the No.1 cause of war and death in the past 2,000 - possibly more. If you are brainwashed with the Bible, you just do not have any seat at the table of logical thinking.

  • Hey man, how's it going? I just wanted to point out that in the twentieth century Mao Tse-Tung and Joseph Stalin were not religious and they banned Christianity and yet they commited great genocides. Others too. Something to think about.

  • You are right, but you are confusing "religion" with true Christianity. They are not the same thing. The vast majority of "religious" people are not truly Christians at all.

  • L*O*V*E

  • First of all, stop using other people's stituations to justify your own. Take a look at the parable of the talents and the parable of the pounds. Today we have ample opportunity. We have to give God something to bless. There is no excuse for the financial, health related and relational issues that we face in this country because most of the time they are self- inflicted. God would not have given us the ability to earn income and given us gifts and talents if we weren't supposed to get ahead.

  • Taking up your cross means doing your part to spread the gospel and to fulfill your calling. The suffering that is talked about here is suffering caused by our call, not self inflicted things, such as not properly manging our finances, taking care of our selves and our health, and being responsible. suffering for Christ does not mean that if someone is poor or sick that you have to intentionally put your self into the same situation. The suffering comes from people who will not agree with you.

  • Amen brother 2pm or 3 am is the right time for me

  • He preaches with maturity. Hebrews 6:1 just about sums it up for me. The prosperity Gospel can be a great tool for opening people's hearts however here Paul Washer is speaking to proclaimed leaders of the Church not just any believer as I. 1 Timothy 4:1. is a good basis for his overall tone. Why would God only care to bring you monetary wealth? When we are all told to be content with what we have and to always give thanks.

  • wow! you got me! at 6:00 minutes even;you got me! conviction city!

  • Your totally right it hit me hard too. lol.

  • Mr. Washer is a sweet relief.

And yea, at 6:00 - ask my hubby, he's learned to love someone who doesn't meet the conditions! LOL

  • I am not trying to put anyone down, and I am not saying these people are not christians. But I am saying that they are missing the true meaning of Salvation. If you read about Christs Crucifiction in Isaah, and about curses in Deutaronamy,(it's too much to go into right now) you will see what I am talking about. If Poverty is a curse, and Jesus became the curse for us, and bore all sicknesses and curses on the cross why is it okay to accept it? Salvation is more than a get out of jail free card!

  • Bamasun1, you are exacly right! God does not care what you do or don't have. Aparently john146only hasn't fingured out the true meaning of Salvation. Salvation is more that saving us from hell. The beatitudes, and what Jesus said about life is talking about NOW, not waiting until we get to heaven! As I pointed out to Kevin 5749, read Eccl. 5:18! Life isn't perfect, but Salvation also means salvation from sickness and poverty! Jesus paid for both of those on the cross!

  • No, john146, you are wrong. If I believe that Jesus died for me, and God raised him from the dead, and I ask him to be Lord of my life, Then I am a real christian. Plese explain to me what you think a real Christian is. That's what the bible says. You seem to be mixed up.

  • I just wanted to leave a message for Kevin 5749. I have read 1 John 2:15-17. You have clearly taken this verse out of context. When he says not to "love" the world or the things in it, the world love means an "obsession", not to want or enjoy things. I have some bible passeges for you. 3John verse3, Eccl. 5:18-20, Eccl. 9:10, Prov. 20:13, prov. 10:4, and Prov. 10:22. Read these and then get back to me.

  • He's not gonna lose sleep over us having our best life now..or if our check books are balanced..or if we have purpose or not, cuz one day we'll be judged? Uhh what's the kinda stuff we'll be judged on? Well we'll be judged on how we handled our money and our stuff and if we lived for God's 'purpose'. GOd doesn't care how we feel about ourselves? So is David a heretic when he worries about how his soul feels when he says.."why are you downcast oh my soul?"

  • You miss the point of what this man is saying to a massive group of people that are so uber-focused on today and temporal things that they have been a false convert on their way to hell. There are dozens of verses about our agenda needing to be on heavenly things, to not hyper focus on the attainment of wealth, to not store your treasures on this plane. When it comes down to eternity & the lack that so many "Christians" ( who are trusting in their own good works) are hell bound and don't get it!

  • Please explain how the definition of "cushy" is the same definition as "having enough"? Do you reckon that they should have been outside under a tree... while you sit in a chair... on your computer... with internet... typing this? First, if you do hold to this and want to talk about hypocrisy perhaps removing the log would help before addressing others, and second, please explain how Paul preaching against altering the message of the Gospel which you call "cushy" is the same as having enough.

  • You know, the way Paul was preaching against nice things, I think maybe he should of been outside under a tree preaching. It would of given him tons more integrity on the issue, especially with the amount of preaching he does against Americans who have nice cushy things. I've seen him in a few videos wearing really really NICE suits! The kind Osteen might even wear. Sorry I took the clothes off your emperor. But Paul is crooked like em all.

  • What exactly are you trusting to take away your sins then friend? You call us out and call us fundamentalits as though that were an insult, but that makes me wonder what your biblical world view is and if you may be a false convert. It makes me wonder what you are trusting when this short life is over? Is it a theme scripture commands that says Repent and believe (trust) in the blood sacrafice of Jesus. You might want to get back to the fundamentals or what is most important.

  • I don't mind me sitting on a chair on the internet as I type this, because I'm not the one preaching against people with nice things! Paul has found a nice cushy niche preaching to you fundamentalists and he's playing you all like a violin. He knows what kinda stuff you want to hear so he says it. Yeah his stuff may sound all hard core, but that's because he knows that's the kinda stuff you want to hear. Him and Osteen are no different. They're preaching what their audiences want to hear.

  • Yeah, what a wicked man, he travels all over the place trying to preach ( and a well done job at that) of what true salvation is via the commands of the bible to repent and believe upon of fully trust in Jesus and not to get caught up in this life too much- what a jerk huh? I mean it is almost like he cares that billions of people are going to hell and most of them are called christians that were false converts. He goes maninly to South America & focuses on those who have ziltch bc he cares so.

  • @bamasun1 He went to their church to preach because they asked him. He's ripping Osteen's doctrine not Osteens cushy seats in his church. Osteen teaches a fluffy watered down gospel. You were more focused on the things around him than you were the message. Paul Washer also preaches on soap boxes in the middle of streets. Oh yes. He takes it to the streets and even stands on corners preaching in Spanish. What about you? When was the last time you shared the gospel with someone boldly like this?

  • @bamasun1 This man spent years in Peru during war years and living in huts. He saw people die because of their faith.

He preached the truth then and preaches it now.

  • He may be a man of God, but he is not being guided by the sprit in what he is saying in this partcular instance. He obviously teaches that mediocraty in the various areas of our lives is acceptable. I'm sorry, but I don't see how getting by shows God's goodness. Don't expect to win people to Christ that way! God has given us a purpose, which is different for every person. I will stand before God one day, but there is a whole lifetime between now and then. God looks at how well we lived our life

  • how does 1 john 2:15-17 compare to what you are saying

  • Are you really listening to what he is saying? His focus it to preach salvation to a sea of billions on their way to hell, most of them not even understanding that is in fact what is going to happen because so many are false converts and don't know it. That must be the first issue that is dealt with by anyone and after that they we can delve farther in. People today are entertained to death that they don't even realize that could be unsaved. So they fill up on more false teachers work & miss out

  • A couple of people here seem to have missed that he is addressing preachers . He mentions it at least twice . But preacher or not , if you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ , you need to let your light shine before men and speak Jesus to those you work with , go to school with , your neighbors . Ultimately be willing to give your life for the Gospel , That is a requirement not an option . By the way the message at the day of Pentecost was essentially a message of condemnation .

  • Do you hold that it's not Christian to preach a message of condemnation?

  • "Paul washer is like a modern day pharasee."

    Is that you, AndrewcBain?

  • Paul Washer's sermons have changed my life. This is the kind of preaching needed nowadays. If you are convicted, then repent.

Never have I felt and considered Paul a modern day pharisee. How come you can say that it is not the Holy Spirit that is in this kind of preaching. Have you examined yourself if you are in the faith?

  • This is an absolute truth! What are people preaching today? We are truly in the midst of the apostasy. We as Sons of God must stand up and preach with the same fire and truth that brother Paul here is preaching. Are you Christ's? Where's your fire?

  • My "best life now" is on my knees crying out to God. That's anyone's best life now.

  • amen

  • Paul Washer is a sinful man condemned to death because of his sins, but shown mercy from God and forgivenesss through the blood of Christ.

  • Paul Washer is a true man of God.

    He speaks the Truth.

For those who Cannot Receive (spiritual receive) his message as Edifying are either non-christian or in spiritual drought.

  • You won't be where I am next in the next life if you don't repent of your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You'll be begging God for mercy, but you'll receive none.

  • Yeah, censor my last post. And I'm the coward? Let others see what I wrote!

  • You know Fitty-cent? WOW! LOL

I'd love to babble with you forever into the next life (um, maybe), but I've got sins to commit and selfishness to polish.

  • It's my opinion and, as such, it can't deemed false nor a lie. As for "truth", by reading your profile I see that you seem to think you own it. That's kinda silly at its best and hypocritical at its worst. "Live and let live" is something religion can't do because it would destroy itself from pointlessness. If one needs a book and doctrine to live by, fine, do it, but don't push it on me.

I'm done with this, it's going nowhere. Good luck to you.

  • "As for "truth", by reading your profile I see that you seem to think you own it."

Again, you share another empty assertion. I confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and he is truth. As far as saying that I think that I somehow invoke truth from my essence or being is simply a misrepresentation of what I believe.

  • PS. I don't believe in "luck". I believe in God's sovereignty and providence. You should search more about what someone believes before you start throwing random allegations. As far as "pointlessness", why don't you share your "meaningful" life with us all instead of be "done with this"?

  • If you have something that is worth sharing, surely you care enough about others to share. Unless, that is, you either have nothing to share or are going to be selfish instead. Either way, your character speaks volumes.

  • You know nothing about my character and that statement speaks louder yet about yours.

Change your profile to sound more friendly. Nothing to share? I just wrote a ton and exchanged my ideas with ya. I'm done cuz I feel I'm talking to a wall. And that's that.

  • Well, the reason you feel like you're talking to a wall is because you're essentially talking to yourself. I know enough about your character to conclude that you do not have any qualms whatsoever with making random assertions and cowardly running off without defending them.

  • The reason my profile doesn't sound "friendly" to your subjective perception is because "friendship with the world is enmity with God." Perhaps you would like 50 Cent playing in the background or maybe some pictures of half nude women? I'm not sure a person can be friendlier than by sharing the truth. I'm not sure how a person could be more selfish than by suppressing it in unrighteousness. If you're looking for the latter on there, move on.

  • LOL. I knew that from your first post. But I didn't run off, I talked a lot with you, and you're welcome for it. I'm just done, why ya clingin'? You don't even realize how you come out, do you? calling names, being judgmental, assuming things about my character, etc. Ask your god for forgiveness tonight for being so judgemental.

  • Why do I need to ask forgiveness for something he commands me to do?

"Don't judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

    - Jesus Christ

    (John 7:24)

  • Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

    (Lev 19:15)

  • I think the word free means you have a choice. And the choice should match your consciousness, based on the inner growth you have achieved. I find Osteen's message reaches so many because it's positive, it makes you want to do good. I believe other "preachers" are talking more out of jealously, really.

  • Of course. All regenerate people think that someone speaking the truth is jealous because they don't judge "success" by the world's standards so naturally, when someone else comes along and does judge by those standards, they label those who who don't as "being jealous." It's an empty accusation at best. It's a lie at worst.

  • You are speaking Greek. Not loving WHOM?? I don't understand you. And I don't think I want to go on. Sounds as if you've been taught to believe that guilt is a necessary feeling in life. I've rejected that long ago.

Look, life is short, it's only one (that I know of). I seek to enjoy it as much as I can while I'm breathing. I care about our planet's health and about those I love and humanity in general. Advice? think for yourself. :)

  • You assume that I haven't thought through what I believe is true. That is a presumption you bring with you, but I have thought it through and realized that I didn't love people when I've stolen from them, lied to them, etc. It's perfectly logical and rational to feel sorrow about those things. It is irrational to write them off and persist in selfishly being concerned only about myself and neglect the guilt I've felt as a result of my behavior.

  • Well, you are assuming I feel guilty and am not "concerned with others". Again, consider looking at guilt as something that not only you can do something about to prevent but you can also remove from your life. It's all in the way you choose to think and see things.

  • If a god exists, he/she gave you free will, a conscience, and great intuition. Use it! But we are also humans and fail. Made a mistake? Get up and try again. And don't be hard on yourself. Forgiveness starts with self. So does loving others: it all stars with self. No one can give what they don't have.

  • One thing that I believe is that the Bible teaches that a person's will isn't free. I believe it's controlled by their nature. If you don't believe this to be true, try to actually keep all the 10 commandments. You could either say that you don't want to and write this off, or when you do try, you'll notice that you're not able to. This is because you, me, everyone was born with a natural nature that can't obey God's laws.

  • Sigh. I know, always sacrifice. Always. Sacrifice your life today in hopes you will have another. And if it by any "chance" it turns out that you don't...HA! What now?

Look, live your life, be happy, try to improve yourself and the world, do good. That's all you need to know.

  • I take it you don't believe in God. What do you do with all your guilt?

  • Huh? Are "non-believers" supposed to feel guilty? Dang, no one told me. :(

If you mean guilt from common place things, like failing to do something for someone, or not calling when I said I would, sure, I do. I simply correct my behavior to avoid future guilt of the same kind. Simple, and it works fairly well.

  • Have you ever stolen from someone?

  • But I think you actually mean the guilt that religion says you SHOULD feel, right? That is exactly why you won't see me in a "chuich".

I don't buy into that. Religion is business, friend. Nothing more, nothing less. If a god-dess exists, believe me, she is sad with all of the carp humans do using her name. All of it!

  • It's amazing. All I asked was, "have you stolen anything," and not only did you not answer my direct question, but proceeded to share your subjective views on religion. I'll ask again to see if you're capable:

    Have you ever stolen anything?

  • Are you sure I'm the one you were trying to reply to? I don't get ya. Yes, I've stolen candy as a kid, money from parents as a teen, people's time, men's hearts...I guess that's all. Your point?

  • What do you do with the guilt you have from not loving them as yourself, but, instead, seeking things for yourself?

  • "Your Worst Life Now: Paul Washer Shares With You Your Lack of Human Potential and your Total Depravity".

Lol I have to clean my monitor off now :)

  • "Your Worse Life Now"? Ha ha ha, what next, "Become a Worse You"? Get it?

  • indeed many preach a different message & God will hold them accountable for their false message/s (if they are ignorant or not).

God says to follow Him, surrender all & not take a break from Him. Amen on dying to self & conforming to His image.

BTW if you dont know if God has ever disciplined you, then its time to seek Him hard. Love ya all, keep the vids coming.

  • Paul is one of the Godliest Preachers I know. Such a privilege to hear the Gospel message in undiluted form.

If you are interested in hearing more of his sermons, there are a lot of his messages on Sermon Index (.net). I pray the Lord will bless you through his Word,

  • haha the framerate is still a little bit off here too. This is a great video and because of it i now know of this man of God. Thanks Bro!

  • I agree with the previous posters. He scares me in a good way. I wish more ministers were like him. God bless him

  • True men of God are hated or ignored by the masses. The masses love self esteem teachers like Osteen.

Thank God for Paul Washer! He scares me too, in a good way.

  • I agree. His true word of GOD are really awesome and scary.I really like paul washer hes best.

  • @waylifetruth " BEWARE OF ANGRY WATCHMEN" SEARCH IT NOW!!!

  • Paul scares me..in a good way :0)

  • Thank you for posting this.
