Simple Kinematics: He jumps at ~2 seconds and lands at ~3.75 seconds so his free falling time is 1.75 s.

Gravity causes him to increase his falling speed by 9.81 m/s every second, so after 1.75 seconds he's doing ~17 m/s vertically.

His initial speed was none, so the average is 8.5 m/s

If you do 8.5 m/s for 1,75 seconds, you did 12.75 meters, or ~42 feet
