  • I thought you weren't supposed to have electronic things on while landing and taking off 0.o

    Thumbs up if you agree

  • when we went on easyjet last week, we had a boeing 737 :)

  • guyes easyjet are shit man i was putt with peplo i dont no and away from the famuile

  • Just used same airlines a week ago.. Liverpool is a great place..

  • would 40 or 50 mins be enough time between ariving and departing?

  • I was at the airport today getting a SubWay haha

  • was the flight an hour? coz holland is only 15 mins away by plane from Dover but since liverpool is in the North west it must have taken longer

  • it looks like you're on the wing lol

  • Who was at the controls??? Skippy the Kangaroo! What a landing.

  • im frm liverppol nd i pronanly saw tha plane land coz i live near the airport and se loads of the planes land

  • He did retard the thrust levers. That loud noise that is heard pretty much all the way through the video is the wind noise. You can hear the engines retarding at 0:27. It was quite a late retard but every plane has to retard on landing

  • What is retarding the engine?

  • it's another word for flare, it's when you close the throttles at about 30 feet, different people have different opinions but it's about 25-30 feet, I think

  • @JackClare1995 i thought retarding meant reverse thrust?

  • @Marmalade624 No, Aircraft fly down the final approach with a bit of thrust to hold the speed, but when they reach between 10 and 30 feet depending on wind speed..., they throttle back (retard) the engines, the reversers aren't unlocked until after the aircaft touches down

  • @JackClare1995 aaaaaha, didnt know that! thanks for telling me:D

  • @Marmalade624 You're welcome mate :D

  • @Mazza4Azza Landing procedures. 1. Cutting the throttle. 2. Flaring the aircraft. 3. Reverse Thrust.

  • Nice landing !

  • I am going to Krakow (poland) tommorow with easy jet from liverpool :)

  • y didn't he RETARD/or reverse thrust?

  • he did do both just hearing quality and the position of the camera just didn't noitcie either i'm guessing

  • He set that down well nice.

  • when you where about 5 mins away from the airport you probably flew over my house :)

  • great video! 5*

  • thats not a runway. its a running track. manchester thats a proper airport

  • How old are you 8? Has your mum locked you in your room?

  • no mate im 22 and i dont leave with my mum wankstain

  • lol welcome to liverpool robbing council house airport.

  • grow up!

  • just because u wear tracky bottoms and rob cars!

  • Have to say the airbus a319s landings are a lot smoother than the boeing 737 landings!

  • i was on that flight and when i got off i went to mcdonalds for tea. i had a burger and chips and a chocky thick shake to dip me chips in yum yum

  • ok then *eyes rolling*

  • Camera was held nicely aswell. Good quality as well!

  • that was a smooth landing

  • Smooth? lol it practically bounced as it hit the ground

  • Well, the shaking of the camera suggests a less smooth landing but really, the flightdeck did a great job. I filmed this one with my still camera's mpeg feature; the still cam doesn't have steady shot or anything. Honestly, the landing was beautiful.

  • Aaah okay :) I was on this flight from amsterdam just over 2 weeks ago, very smooth indeed

  • very nice landing

  • beautiful landing

  • Very smooth one indeed. Congrats to the Captain (unless it was the autopilot, haha).

  • @jeroenalberda why do people always think landings are auto land less than 1% are its only when visibility is less than 200m or even less

  • people from liverpool ;)

  • I could have never guessed...thanks for filling me in :-)

  • as scousers say luuvely!

  • Thank you and, ehmm, who or what are "scousers"? :-)

  • smooth landing! i've been with ezy a couple of times to Barcelona + Nice, great footage

  • Thank you and yeah, those pilots did a great job. I've been flying EZY a couple of times, too and (except for one time when they canceled my return flight) it has always been a great experience.

  • excellent vid good fun.

  • Thank you...I sure enjoyed that flight!
