  • WOAH! never adjust the tool rest while the machine is running! i know from experience that you can slip and jam it in the workpiece, sending it flying, i was lucky that no damage was done to me or the machine, but others have lost body parts.

    work safe and live to work another day! keep it up dude!

  • It wouldn't hurt — and in fact be much safer — to have the tail stock in place. And as you can see in the video, it wouldn't be in the way. Always use the tail stock. Better safe than injured or dead.

  • Det är en bit rör 60mm med konisk insida och en krage där den spänns direkt i chucken. När jag svarvar utsida använder jag en kraftig fransk träskruv utan skalle, också direkt i chucken. Enkelt och smidigt!
