In terms of the draft, with 1st round picks Paxson drafted Kirk Hinrich in 2004, Ben Gordon and Luol Deng in 2005,Juaquim Noah in 2007, and Derrick Rose in 2008.How much better could he have done? The only mess up was taking Tyrus Thomas in 2006 over Aldridge. Luxury tax? it's not his money. You can blame that on the owner.

I didn't say he was a great GM. I said he was decent and did more positive than negative. In 2003, he made the best pick he could have. DWade, Lebron, Bosh, and Anthony weren't available idiot. In 2004, Gordon and Deng were solid picks. In 2007, Noah ended up being a solid pick considering he's leading the NBA in rebounding. Rose was a great pick in 2008. You're right Deng doesn't deserve that much money, but overall he did an admirable job. Could you have done better shithead?

Among the three great shooters that MJ had played with i would say that Craig Hodges was the best in terms of shooting and range. but overall Paxson was the best player. def better than hodges or kerr.

Also i think Hodges had the prettiest looking three while Paxson was the smoothest mid range shooter.
