What I really didn't like about the conclusion to this whole situation is that almost the entire league (especially Wonder Woman) didn't understand why heroes make sacrifices and therefore rejected Hawkgirl, even though she ultimately saved the world.
I hated this! I stopped watchin Justice League for a little freakin' while, and they get rid of my favorite character, and bring in a bunch of new ones so that there were so may, it pissed me off.

But when Hawkgirl is given what she thought was a benign mission to spy on Earth's defenses only to eventually refute her entire world in the name of her love for John Stewart, and concern for the Human race rather than her own she gets NO forgiveness. Diana...that's cold.

Yet, knowbody seems to realize that. Diana, being hundreds of years old, should of realized it.

Her reaction here is more to do with Diana's strong values of loyality and trust, which is something probably held very highly among amazons. From what is shown the amazons on Diana's regard each other as closly as sisters, so something Wonder percieves as a betrayal by the only other femal memeber on her team was appalling to her.

you have a point. In alot of ways I don't like how this Wonder Woman was handled character wise. She often came across as 2D and wooden. Hawk Girl by comparison had so much depth and character. I've yet to see a modern version of Wonder Woman that gets her right.

Alfred Pennyworth was always such a class act, giving aid and support to any of the heros, no matter who they weer. He was and is such an important character to any storyline...
Hawkgirl betrayed the entire League when her people, the Thanagarians, came to Earth and basically took it over under martial law. She told her army exactly how to defeat each member of the League in order to subdue them. However, when the Thanagarians wanted to destroy the Earth in a complicated process which would help them defeat THEIR enemies, the Gordanians, Hawkgirl wouldn't allow it, helping the League defeat them and exiling herself in the process. A very good season finale.
I'd love too see a Marvel vs. DC on dvd, maybe write, or e-mail, Bruce Timm, It should be like the other movies, and be direct too dvd. Have it like in the comics, but film alternate winners. The hulk cracked Supermans Jaw, but Superman beat him. I'd love too see what happens when the Hulk, (the Professor), without his control side, goes toe too toe with Superman.
Yes, she returns in "Wake the Dead". Some eps later(7), her, & WW go to the pits of tarturus to stop faust in "The Balance"(I believe the ep is called). By the ep's end, she, & WW are friends again.

Well it pretty obvious that Wonder Woman and Superman voted to kick her out...Flash and Martian Manhunter voted to keep her, the interseting part is What did Batman and Green Lantern vote?? if I were to guess GL said keep her and so did Batman..remeber Batman can see things more clearly and logical than any other JL member.
Actually, in later episode, you find out that it was a tie and Superman broke it with a "keep her" vote. Superman said, "I believe in second chances."
Let Batman stayed cold hearted and Wonder Woman being a hard headed bi**h. I just hope they realized that being cold hearted and a hard headed person pushes people away,just like Batman pushed away Robin(Dick Grayson) for not being honest with him.

They had a couple of moments... I think the best of them is in Fury which is an episode where Wonder Woman is still stinkin mad at Hawkgirl, but they make up, sort of. It's a good one. :)
She was actually a double agent sent by her people to help conquer the earth. She betrayed the league when her people invaded, but switched sides at the last minute and helped fight off the invasion. Still the League could not forget her betrayal.

Well it pretty obvious that Wonder Woman and Superman voted to kick her out...Flash and Martian Manhunter voted to keep her, the interseting part is What did Batman and Green Lantern vote?? if I were to guess GL said keep her and so did Batman..remeber Batman can see things more clearly and logical than any other JL member.

Actually, in later episode, you find out that it was a tie and Superman broke it with a "keep her" vote. Superman said, "I believe in second chances."

They had a couple of moments... I think the best of them is in Fury which is an episode where Wonder Woman is still stinkin mad at Hawkgirl, but they make up, sort of. It's a good one. :)

She was actually a double agent sent by her people to help conquer the earth. She betrayed the league when her people invaded, but switched sides at the last minute and helped fight off the invasion. Still the League could not forget her betrayal.
