There's nothing wrong with descaling the washer, the heater was really loud, as long as u run hot wash above 70 degrees approx every six weeks with powder then it will be fine, it can be done with laundry, I was looking in the book the other day
thats what id say mike, listen m8 if u have the extra cover insurance it wont cost to replace the bearings if they go will save u a grand i checked, its covered under mechanical or electric fault repair so im ok, its worth it they are top machines but hey u and i take care of em so little chance they breaking down
