When I was originally installing this on my own, i was stopped in my tracks because the notes said:

after the [permanant updater test]

"if the device does not REBOOT then do not install the patch"

So yea, each time I'd do it and was sent out to the XMB when I was expecting a reboot - so I didn't install the patch. But then I searched and ran across your video and this really helped me out.

You said with out the file vshorig.prx you cant restore the psp i restored more then 20 with out it all you have to do is go on your pc to sony website and download the OFW off there website put it in a folder on your psp under game UPDATE and it works fine

This looks pretty good. i had 6.32-me but it has bugs and is over all crap so i downgraded and this is heaps better no wired errors or bugs for no reasons. (Running on psp 1000) (recommend if your looking for custom firmware)

@TheNub10 No, just use the PROUPDATE folder, place in PSP/GAME then go to the XMB, run it, when it says press X to install, you want to hold L and press X to REINSTALL, and it will update your PRO

Thanks man!! Worked on my PSP 2001 with 02g Module.. I can run PRO Recovery Menu!! What I did.. (For those who needed help): 1) Downloaded the 6.20 Pro-B10 Fix1 CFW 2) Extracted all the files to my PSP (Connect your PSP to a PC) 3) Run the UPDATE first(If u want) 4) Run the Permanent Bootloader 5) Then Press 'X' 6) Warning Message appears.. 7) Then Press 'O' 8) Reboot now on PSP v6.20 PRO-B10 PERMANENT PATCH :)) YAY!! :DD

@maragapo No, you can not delete VSHORIG.PRX that is on the root of your memory stick because then you can never uninstall the permanent patch.

6.20 only supports it to 5g !

If you want to install it permanent use CIPL_Flasher !

Installation process !

1. Uninstall any cfw you have (and delete the files)(optional), if you have pro delete the PRO files in your Game folder.

2. Put the PRO folders according to your firmware in your game folder !

3.Run PRO-Update

4.This is important ! If you have older PRO click on triangle if not click X to install. This will be a 2 post Tut.

It will reboot ! 8. Now run PRO Recovery ! (9.Succesfully installed ! CIPL_Flasher 1. Install it before the installation of PRO-B10 and this is only for 6.39 and 6.60 ! And it is limited to 1g and 2g models ! 2.Make sure you still have B9 and run the patch ! 3. Install B10 and you have PRO-B10 Perm.

"PRO-B9" sounds like a shampoo lmao. awesome cfw tho. was stuck on 5.50 GEN till i found this. only problem is, i cant transfer psn content from my ps3 to my psp, it says i need to update my psp, but its works just fine downloading straight from the psn store. someone let me know if theres a way i can work around this, i have all my psp content on my ps3, it would be nice to not have to go to the psn store every time i want to copy a game to my psp, and faster too.

@mumihp Follow these steps:

1.) Go to google.

2.) Type "PSP Module Checker SIGNED" and then click search.

3.) Find it, download it

4.) Put in on your PSP, in PSP/GAME (if it is just an EBOOT file, create a folder at PSP/GAME/Module/ and put the EBOOT there)

5.) Run the Module checker.

6.) Now you know what module you have :)

@MuffiNxPiratE If you have a 1000 with CFW on it, and an original SONY battery, you can use HellCat's Recovery Flasher v1.65 to make it a pandora and then change it back to normal in like 5 seconds, its pretty simple :)
