  • I never understood why TV and movie makers make mistakes like this. They obviously took out the blue bag on purpose. Why would they just remove it from the show when it was it the previous shot? Don't they know that people get upset about these types of things? I don't understand!!!

  • Nah I bet he just checked it in and the other one is hand luggage. Obvs!

  • And Sydney airport has no palm trees.

  • wow that's just. very stupid of them...

  • was i the only one who noticed that he ran through the doors twice?

  • he loses the blue bag for everyone that doesnt notice like i didnt

  • its becasue theres a palm tree in the middle of the scenes...from the island...where hes stranded.....get it..thumb it up so people can see

  • no no no, it was the same, the statue outside was the same the second time

  • dude, airports have loads of doors that all look the same. this doesnt prove at all that it was the same door. jeez.

  • @honkeytroll They are the same. This is shot not at a real airport but at the Convention Center in Hawaii. Once you go through the glass doors in the front there are no other glass doors on the inside.

  • HE WALKS TWICE THE TRU THE SAME DOORS

  • @nycpd75 Nope. They show it twice because for Hurley it was hard to run like that. So he "lost" condition like run twice.

  • I'm pretty sure he just drops one. You kind of see him do it.

  • First of all, that's not an easter egg. Easter eggs are things they put in to see if you'll notice, for fun or to make a connection. Like the numbers on the soccer players' jerseys in one airport scene.

This makes sense. He checked the big and and then it cut to a little later when he's rushing on with his carry-on. Unless it was just a mistake. You're not supposed to consider it an easter egg, though.

  • he just let one go

  • its the same scene, and stop with same people, filmed two times, one with Hurley having to luggages, and other scene with him having one luggage.

  • it's green screen. Search for: chroma key and you will find out that almost no series and movies gets filmed in cities and other crowded places

  • @JorGenWesTgaarD That's not chroma keyed.

  • Look carefully at the Extras. Are the same actors in diferent scenes.

  • Jacob

  • the easter egg is that the scene replays its self at 0:06

  • So...was one scene the "real" world and the other scene was spose to be the "matrix death" realm from season 6? It would be cool...but I think it was just a continuity/editing error.

  • He comes thru the same door twice once with the rolling bag and the second without

  • JACOB

  • I think he checked it

  • The Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu Hawaii!!!! Nice!!! Sadly not an airport.

  • These two shots do not appear together in the actual episode. You can tell that the music changes between them. There was most likely a commercial break.

  • The easter egg is probably the guy in the suit that you see him coming 2 times from the same way...he looks like gman

  • The man with the blue suit he is like GMan from the Game Half Life 1 and 2

  • he walk thru the same door twice is wat ur looking for

  • haha I hadto watch it like 5 times till I saw they were different. The guy in the suit gave it away for me.

  • How is this an Easter Egg? Seems more like an editing oversight to me.

  • hahaha he runs through the same doors twice roflmao

  • this video is 2 different scenes played back to back. the bald extra in the red shirt is the easter egg. since the scenes take place hours apart in real time, the bald extra wouldn't be walking by in the same direction in real time, he would have already left the airport

  • @SlimHonke even if your right it is not just that one extra it is alll of them

  • OMFG dont you see Gman the man with the Blue Suit ?????????????

  • 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 + 42 = 108 minutes :)

  • I would hardly call this an easter egg lol

  • continuity error

  • uh,,,I dont get it?

  • The statue is in the background !

  • Is this maybe a sign that the hydrogen bomb worked.

Possibly the producers made it so that he went in both places twice, possibly showing both "universes"...Idk. D:<

  • Check at the palm tree...

    It looks weird.

  • timetravel, obviously

    xD

  • he goes through the same place twice, he also has 2 bags and then has one also the stuntmans are the same in both sides

  • They shot the scene multiple times, trying to decide what would make Hurley look like he was in the biggest hurry: Dragging two bags, or lifting one bag over his head to scoot past the crowd. This was a mistake made in the editing room by someone not paying close attention.

  • That's no easter egg. It's a common mistake...

  • yeah... he dropped that on purpose. that was the point.

  • at first i though it was edited but then i realized he did two different things

  • okay, i love lost, but they seriously make so many mistakes!

  • Also he had two bags and then suddenly had one.

  • Wow! so true!

  • i actually noticed tha watching the episode and assumed he lost one and that he's realise it but..no..

  • he left one behind. it's part of the joke

  • oh ok thank

  • i dont get it

  • he went through the same place twice

  • lol just like the old cartoons when you see the character runing the the same place lots of times

  • hahaa

  • what does this video show ??of course besides hurley running:P

  • You see him twice running through the same place

  • I think perhaps because the show deals with time travel- it's showing multiple Hurley's all just seconds apart- living in a sort of loop. Also- look at the pilot episode- When camera zooms out on Jack- you will see the black baton- that Ben usues at finale of season 4. hmmmm....

  • Have you seen "Smolesiuk´s" recaps, KyitKyat, or where do you got to that idea with the baton from?

  • If you google lost easter eggs, or go to lostpedia- they have still frames from the opening of the pilot (I watched the pilot afterwards to make sure no photoshopping had been done) and the baton was there, it looks an awful lot like the one Ben was using when he beat the crap out of Keamy and to turn the wheel. The 8 pegged wheel was also a symbol taken from buddhism.

  • Side note: I don't think Ben used the baton to beat Keamy with, but he does eventually use it during season 4 finale. soory :P

  • I know, but thank you.

side note: you should check out Smolesiuk´s channel if you haven´t yet.

    Namaste..

    and good luck ;)

  • Thanks for letting me know about Smolesiuk! I really like his videos- you've just provided me with another "nerd-out" outlet, lol

    Namaste to you too!

  • you do relize the thing was that they used the same set twice right wat was that about tume travel

  • I don't think it's often that the people who run the show LOST would let small continuity problems such as using the same set twice surface- also within many different episodes they'll do the same looping thing, which would lead one to believe that it could possibly be time travel,of course this is all one big theory of mine and others. Watch out for season 5- I think they'll begin addressing time travelling issues more thouroughly.

  • yeah sure there are theories about time travel but some are just stupid because time travel is always a possibility but people beleive that when theres a better answer such as how Roses cancer is gone now that they have been on the island people immediatly assume some sort of time travel when theres a better possibility but there are many time travel theories that r possible such as how many people beleive the whole show could be a loop

  • it looks like bens baton but theres no definite proof so you cant go around saying thats true

  • I'm not saying it's definite proof- these are all just theories that I've gathered through many different sources. It's just fun to speculate.

  • hahahahahahaha

  • LOOOL

  • haha nice

  • I think that he should bring an alarm. You know, like those you see on fire engines. I bet it saves him a lot of breath. Ha ha.

  • i wudnt have thought theyd be dumb enough to make an editing mistake like this. but i still wudnt have thought it was an easter egg apart from the fact that the same thing happens further into the airport when he's on the scooter. I think maybe they wanted to create the feeling that he wasn't getting anywhere .... have the audience empathise with his frustration maybe?

  • Maybe he's running around in circles.

Maybe it's a reference to The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien

  • lol the same place :D

  • Easter egg? Not so much. Editorial mistake? Bingo.

  • LOOOL Hurley ;p Love him !!

  • I dont understand, am i being thick? What am I looking for? Can you mail me and let me know?! I am probably just being blind...

  • he runs thru the same place twice, looks like he runs thru the airport when its just 2 clips on the same place diffrent time together

  • @silvereve It's the G-Man

  • @zombays who's the g-man?

  • @silvereve He ran through the doors twice, one time he had two bags and the other time he only had one

  • @silvereve He's carrying 2 bags then it cuts and hes only carrying one

  • @silvereve if u pause the scene you can see apalm tree outta nowhere

  • @silvereve Notice how he has a bag in his lower left arm , then it seems to disapear as he holds both arms over his head..

  • @silvereve its so obvious that u dont even notice
