BBC is just as keen as Sky, Cnn, Fox and others when it comes to supporting government politics. They yell at the irrelevant local topics and agree on all national and global issues that matter the most.

Lisbon treaty anyone? Free speech zones? London bombings? Show me the criticism and investigative journalism on those topics!
