It's hard to believe for 2011 this is max. I think there might be a possibility of 990 hit of f2p considering if you are a pure with these stats: 99 str, 76 attk, 99 mage, and 99 rnge with 99 hp and 99 pray. Boost up str with pray, get some arm, and str pot and.......

@WeAllPlayRunescape -,- first of all it's not me that's doing it, was just a guy I met in the duel arena. Second of all, if I wanted to hit higher we would've chosen for better strength gear. Only things that increase the max hit at this point (if we were in members) would be dragon boots (or possibly berserker ring ((i))) ... I haven't been members for over 2 years so I can't really be in a member world... Just learn to read the description and don't be the 100th idiot to comment the same thing

@kurisu925 Yeah you might be right about that, altough I'm not sure if the extra prayer % bonus goes over the strength level only or over both strength level and strength bonus.

@aeiouaeiou100 The str bonus of your equipment and your str level are used to calculate the max hit. I do not know the exact equation but I do know it is percentage based and as such the higher your str level is the more you will get out of your equipment stats. So yes the zealot ammy would only help to boost your strength level higher with the prayer but that alone should more than compensate for the reduced equipment bonus.

@aeiouaeiou100 I just wish prayer gave a damage boost to magic... I mean think about it. The melee and ranged prayers both boost damage because those skills deal damage based on their skill level. However, magic damage is based purely on the spell being used and not the skill so all the magic prayers do is boost accuracy. Still usefull but only half as usefull as the other prayers. Also they should combine the prayers that boost attack and strength. Why should melee need to drain prayer faster?
