Honestly, i would predict you would survive for 1 week max, you only have guns. absolutley no actual "survival" gear. I admire the weapons, dont carry too much. i have a 6lb 30-06 with 185 rounds that brings me to 12lbs in weaponry & ammo. my kit weighs 20lbs

@shawny142 You are assuming this is the only gear we have. This is just a selection of the weapons we have available, that has been obvious to everybody else. Read the book for the list of everything else you need. Only a muppet would try to survive the situation with a few weapons and nothing else. Of course you need medical supplies, clothing, food, water, shleter and transportation plus a host of other essentials.

I just bought a shark suit from amazon, and my layers are. Artic Gear(TopLayer) Hoody Sweatshirt(Second layer) Tee Shirt(third layer) Shark Suit(Bottom Layer) Artic Pants(Top Layer) Skating Pants(Second Layer) Thermal Underwear(third layer) Shark Suit(fourth layer) boxers(final layer)

@garbageday99 Yea but bitch is heavy as hell, recoil is strong, when you do need to reload it will take some time and by then the zombies will be to close for comfort and gun would be to heavy to run with, drop it and no primary defense. thats why rifles,pistols, and shotguns make the best guns for zombies

@SurvivorOfZombies true it would take a bit to reload, but those weapons are quite lite, since they fire the 5.56 nato round there is little to no felt recoil at all, it is not uncommon to fire all 600 rounds from the shoulder without breaking a sweat, theres a video on here of a guy 5'9 140lbs firing 600 the rounds from the shoulder with ease, in army squadrons the guy with the saw is also required to carry a shotgun for breaching purpuses, its just a beefed up m16 with a box mag

Shotguns can never be any good, you have to feed it, unlike the other guns, which have clips. Some shotguns,like the saiga 20k have a clip, which can be very reliable.

@auroraionaa Blades don't need reloading, but they do need to be kept properly and maintained, just like anything else. Better to keep a sword for those OHSHI- TIME TO AN HERO moments, firearms and more practical melee weapons (like Utility Axes, or Machetes) are much easier to obtain and maintain.

@jacarandas98100 my dad already has a spas, ak, usp, and carcano . but id rather have a sword or something with a blade over the flamethrower. 1 it can cut there head off 2 its light 3 less noise which means less attention.a flamethrower wouldn't be that good cause its heavy and if you caught one on fire and it caught up to you and grabbed you your fucked in 3 ways, it would more likely catch you on fire, bite you, or the fire would cause the gas in the tank to explode.

These guys are serious. In most of the zombie survival literature, 'facts' are extrapolated from what is known about physiology, disease, viruses and their symptoms. Even if you take the zombie out of the equation, the survival information is pertinent to any apocalyptic scenario and is well researched.

For example restlessness and anxiety will take its toll with sleep loss and hunger, rersulting in a weaker less alert fighter making easy lunch for the ghouls.
