My parents used to listen to Carole King a lot when I was young. I loved the songs but I never related to them as much as I do now. Im a 44y ear old guy, my mom died from cancer in 2006. This song came on the radio all the time in the 70s. When I listen to it I think of my mom being "So far away" I wonder where she is? Songs from the 70s have this "effect on people " my age. I wonder if today's music will do this to the young people tomorrow?

@gigjohn...I feel your pain. I'm a 43 year old man and my mom is alive, but lives in a nursing home with a severe case of dementia. Almost all "retro" items on "You-Tube" from the '70's and early '80's make me cry (old songs, tv show themes/commercial jingles, movie soundtracks, etc.). I can't help but have "flashbacks" to the "good ole days". I don't think the music/movies/television young people listen to/watch nowadays compares to our media. God bless !

I won't lie I weren't surprised by Amy's death and am somewhat under the similar belief that she had a chance to steer clear from drugs, however I am saddened by the news and think it's a massive shame seeing as she had an amazing voice and we were all hoping for a recovery/another back to black style album.
