Excellent review- I was concerned about the monotone interior I've seen on other Soul's but notice yours has a pleasant two tone dash, we had the pleasure of renting one in Iowa and it was actually fun to drive we got looks all over and plenty of comments and questions, with the new mpg on the 2012 people were quite surprised, not sure if you have noticed but the new Range Rovers look like they stole design cues from the Soul. Anyway thanks for a comprehensive review, best of luck with it.
Oh and about the Eco thing, basically it lowers the output of the engine and holds back on throttle response. If you're going uphill a lot or at a point where you need more power turn it off

Thanks for making this. Great review. Still deciding between this and the Chevy Sonic (only because I can get the Sonic for $2000 less)
