@cplhint yes matey the instrumental was the one - Midsummer Night (sunrise) at White Waltham - mental night. The vocal version was believe it or not on one of those Deep Heat compilations that everyone had that year (the best one Vol 4? that almost got it right) I think the compiler picked this mix of this though by mistake!
This track is a cracker, I agree! Can't say I know anything about the artist but I do remember loving this track when I found it on a compilation when first released.

I love this tune with all my heart. It's on deep heat 4 ! you could possibly find that in a charity shop if yr lucky.

Have to say I think the vocal spoils it. The intrumental is one of my favourite all time tunes, for me vocal totally takes away the vibe.

I also prefer the Instrumental Version.
