Is it possible to scratch without useing a mixer? Or does it limit the types of scratching-I'm new at this. Thanks

for quality scratch yes, u need a crossfader (basic part of mixer which makes the "balance" of volume between 2 decks).

also to make ur deck`s music able to hear u need a mixer. i`m not sure if u can use the digital output of a deck to connect with a woffer.
