For years I thought Uchida made a d v d of these etudes because I saw it once on a huge record sized thing-I forget what they called back then . This was before dvd. Was she filmed playing these? And she says someone wrote a doctoral paper about it in an interview .
Thanks so much for uploading this recording! I've been looking for Vedernikov's recording of Debussy's etudes ever since I read Richter's enthusiastic words about them in his notebooks, i.e. for the last 4 years or so.

@lovesGenet yes, uchida did film it and it was released as LD. the cover is a photo of her hands.
