I don't get what the point of BRAKES IN THE MIDDLE OF A RIDE are for all they so is slow it down:( unless you are experiencing alot of gs like in nitro at six flags gadv

The point of a mid course bread run, MCBR, is to " block " the track. This is to ensure that if for some reason a train in in a certain section of track that its not supposed to be, the train will stop. Basically its a safety thing. You wouldnt want someone to dispatch a train to soon and have 2 trains hit each other would yah?

@minimoe14 oh ok. Is this based on any official actual info or did you just make it up?? ps, the eurofighter thats coming to SFOG isn't made by B&M... but I did hear somewhere it might have a holding brake...

@kukubird210 I knew that the coaster isn't made by B&M, its a Gerstlauer Eurofighter. I heard rumors about the holding brake, i can't say if it will be real :)

@MurphTheEngineer10 i think something was wrong with the ride. cos the only standing deja vu model out of the 4 is at magic mountain and its undergoing yearly maintenance right now. Bummer right?

@MurphTheEngineer10 -- I agree! Everytime I went to sixflags it was always shut down because of mechanical problems, but then one time I got lucky and it was open...so I HAD to ride it. It was one of the coolest coasters ever!! I think the biggest issue was the two seats on the side being too close to the poles. When they would do dummy tests the dummies would lose limbs and stuff..so I think that was the biggest concern obviously. I agree they should have never shut it down!

@mallorythree No, when i built the coaster i hadn't had the layout. In real the heartline roll goes through the immelmann and the dive loop. The rest of the layout corresponds relatively accurate to the original.

Looks like Gertslauer is slowly making it's way into the US with their Eurofighter coaster design. I believe this will be their 3rd Eurofighter in the US. That turnaround with two inversions after the 1st drop looks interesting
