  • poor sonic fans..SMH they got their little hopes up,just cuz the sonics won 2 games..hahhaha NO team has ever come back to win the finals when they started the series 0-3. and you think you had a chance against the GREATEST team ever? nobody has won the finals starting 0-3 and it wasnt gonna start with the 1996 72-10 CHICAGO BULLS.

im glad i grew up in the jordan ERA. it had to be destiny,if the bulls would have swept them,THERES no WIN at HOME and on FATHERS DAY. thats fucking crazy. EPIC.

  • this game was SO HYPE! u hear that crowd? the bulls were draining shots from everywhere. i was watching this game wit my mom back in '96 and she was saying how sad it was when mj was crying on the locker room floor after the win. i absolutely love rodmans reaction after making that reverse layup at 6:00-6:05

  • one of the greatest basketball teams of all time...and ron harper..

  • At 0:46 Pippen kinda looks like Derrick Rose.

  • Rodman was fantastic throughout that entire series.

  • I am pretty sure I got chills watching this whole video...Ball today is not the same as it was back then...it's a shame really..

  • What a moment. It was my 25th birthday. Watched it live on tv and was almost in tears myself. Greatest team of all time, with the greatest player of all time. At, 9:48, Michael is on the verge of breaking down again; Ahmad pats him on the back, to get him through it. An unbelievable moment that no Chicago sports fan or Illinois native will ever forget.

  • Rose YEAHHHHHHHH #1

  • Can't wait to see Derrick Rose get a title!

  • Damn, seeing this game give me fucking chills man! I miss the NBA then!

  • This Kind Of TEAM CAN Break all team that evolves now a days (72-10) Who Else can do this? CHICAGO BULLS FOREVER

  • I just feel like crying right now. Poor Jordan losing his father like that

  • rodman looks like the MVP

  • @foch41 Rodman WAS the MVP of this series

  • This was like the easiest championship win for them

  • i love the air jordan 11 :)

  • im just cying... lets face it.. jordan is the best basketball player of all time and nobody is going to be like him ;)

  • This was my first nba finals game and the first time i fell in love with basketball at the age of 6 end of my kindergarden year 1995-1996 Michael Jordan was my first basketball player. This was summer June 1996 i was at my nana's house. :-) miss you MJ 6 RINGS, 6 MVPS!

  • "This is for daddy.."

    chills

  • This is what the real NBA is about right here!!!

  • the 5 dislikes are the Sonics starters

  • People dont realize this but the 96 bulls only lost 2 playoff games, that would put them at 84 and 12 on the season, thats cold blooded at its finnest

  • @MrJwilliams58 Bulls finished 87-13 overall, they lost 3 games in the postseason, the remaining one with the knicks in conf semis.

  • succeding is hard but everything should be easy don't fail give it a try

  • the god of basketball is rising (:

  • Every shot, the crowd goes wild! They are the real NBA crowds.

  • 6:00..prittttt,, yeahh and 1 man...!!!

  • Am I the only one who terribly misses that NBA on NBC introduction? Man, that used to give me chills

  • Pippen was such a beast!!!!

  • I dont get why Randy Brown was doing trying to hustle the game ball of MJ at the end of the game. I think he was messing around. But I remember at the time, I found it embarrassing....

  • You know the reason why Chicago was so good that year? Because Pippen played that season without MJ and it improved his game and you could see it!

  • Love that u have old film of the bulls

  • Epic bulls fuck LAKERS IN BOSTON CELTICS

  • Ayeee tha bred 11's! Tha 11's are tha best j's hands dwn!

  • greatest team ever....96 BULLS!

  • bill walton a marble mouthed 7 foot retard....he always wanted the bulls to lose...very biased commentator....

i think he hated jordans physical gifts and knew that on a 1 on 1 MJ would scorch 7 foot Walton about a zillion to 1.

  • I wish I could turn back the time. Or maybe I could wish for new NBA players who have the same drive, standards, skills and intelligence as those in the '80s or '90s (Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing...whew so many of them!).

  • Congrats on ANOTHER title Chicago. Now seattle's gone. Can't you just let us have our moments? You had 6.

  • "this is for DADDY" ;((

  • I remember after the bulls lost to orlando and a friend of mine and I were talking at about 2 a.m. on morning and he said to me, "you know who is going to win the title next year don't you?" I said "no." He looked at me and said "Chicago." "What makes you say that?" I asked. He answered, "How do you think is in the gym RIGHT NOW, getting ready for next season. MJ." Turns out he was right.

  • @annon896 and when they lost, I said to myself, if they got their rebounder, if they got dennis rodman, chicago would win 70 games....when they got Rodman, and when Jordan got into basketball condition, it was over for the league

  • @annon896 nice story!

  • @annon896 that sent chills down my spine. hahah and its so true.

  • brickowski wasn't a pro, he failed defending rodman, seattle couldn't stop him

  • That NBA on NBC theme gives me chills, takes me back to the 90s NBA.

  • scottie pippen cant miss any shot in nba live 95. i just concluded a 7 game series with chicago and I need to get nba live 1996 or 93 because I have a feeling that if they had michael I'd have lost instead of won in 6. but scottie isnt the greatest shooter ever. he does what he has to his standards were way higher than most

  • 5:08 i didnt kno randy johnson played in the nba

  • O yea and Kerr was a FUCKING BEAST.

  • The emotion Rodman shows at 6:00 proves that he really wasnt in it for the money but just for the love of the game. MAD RESPECT!

  • @UWF312 that was one of my favorite moments for "the worm" during their 1996 championship! simply the BEST of BEST! He perfectly fits the Bulls Team!

  • look how hard Jordan worked getting position at 1:56...he had an ez alley but teammate missed it...then Jordan kept his position aftyer cutting...told Longley to shoot cuz if he missed him and Rodman had solid rebound positioning...Jordan the best overall player ever!

  • It seems defence is much better these days

  • And those are the Bred 11 that Jordan's wearing nice shoe lol

  • PiPPEN-JORDAN

    best team EVER!

  • @TheBusch96 Pippen-Jordan-Rodman

  • 8:53 Nuff said.

  • whats the SONG, played tight after they won this?

  • gary payton disliked this video 2 times

  • 9:45 His words are heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. Truly the greatest sports player of all time

  • thumbs up if Kukoc > LeBron

  • @DragoWeatherwax as much as you dont like lebron..NO

  • Jordan is such a boss

he leaves, comes back, the bulls go 72-10, and wins 3 straight finals

  • sonics had NO chance in the game

  • As much as i love MJ, i wish the sonics won, thatd a been 2 years in a row

  • I agree with OneGloriousBastard, but it would be nice to see some bulls' opponents highlights too

  • "this is for daddy"

  • As i was watching this i just realized how beautiful the game once was... once word: EMOTION! look at the emotion on these players faces! when players play with emotion there's a better feel for the game. but in todays game. if you win a series your supposed to walk off shaking hands with a "smile". the miami heat beat the celtics and because they showed emotion the media hammered them for it... LET THEM PLAY THE GAME! ... Air Jordan-the greatest

  • Personally my favorite bulls finals because Jordan got creamed by Payton, but they still won, because they showed how it was a team sport.

  • dominant.... that is all

  • air, legend, best basketballer.....- michael jordan 4ever in our hearts and history

  • NBA on NBC > NBA on ABC

  • Nah, the first name isn't that big of a deal, but you called him Ross instead of Rose. Lol. That was the problem.

  • nice job having the NBA on NBC intro

    LOVE IT!

  • deniss rodman.....best rebounder ever

  • 2009 MJ HOF, 2010 Pippen HOF, 2011 Rodman HOF!

  • rodman hair creeps me out!

  • Rodman so crazyy, never seen player woth more energy like him, i'm so fannn

  • this series was never in doubt

  • That three by Kerr at around 6:40 was obnoxious. lol his release is so quick. damn he was a great shooter.

  • i dont care what people say fuck kobe and the fakers this is the best team of all time with the games greatiest player ever!!!! damn i miss the 90's

  • @cencer26 you mad ?

  • @fatpatlives1998: why would i be mad im from chicago we had the best team ever with the best player ever? oh yea u must be a kobe fan its cool to each its own!!!

  • These Bulls ran the triangle so well.

  • fkin awesome quality

  • They're gonna do it again this year!! They're gonna take L.A. in 6 games. Just watch.

  • @OldSkewlFever1991 LOL FAIL

  • Play of the game at 5:54

  • Carlos Boozer and Dereck Ross are the new Scottie Pippen and Micheal Jordan

  • @AccessDenied55 boozer? are you on crack

  • @AccessDenied55 no not boozer.... maybe joakim but not boozer

  • @AccessDenied55 go kill yourself. I'm sorry but that was just a retarded statement.

  • Comment removed

  • @AccessDenied55 Deng maybe but not Boozer

  • @AccessDenied55 The fact that you can't even spell Rose's name right just shows how ignorant you are....

  • @thejoker1124 Since when are you the Grammar Police? Grammar Nazi's these days................

  • @AccessDenied55 If you can't even spell his name right, why should anyone take you seriously?

  • @thejoker1124 Your acting like I spelled his name Derrck(I know its a typo)or something. I have a friend name Dereck so that's the first thing that came to mind.

You have just been promoted to Personality Police Chief

  • Why is 90% of the video Bulls balltime? There were like 2 clips where the Sonics had possession.

  • BRING NBC BACK!!!

  • 5:56 best moment in NBA Finals history. Rodman with so much swag right in front of the Sonics bench LOL. At that moment they had to know they were beaten. Pippen got his swag on hitting two late threes in the 4th right in front of the Sonic bench as well.

  • Ah so many memorable finals bulls games. Some of my best childhood memories.

On a separate note, does anyone remember how bad ass the NBA on NBC theme song was back then?

  • @subjoy1 actually he was traded to the clippers first in 1989

  • THOSE WERE THE DAYS 1996 TO 1998 THE GOLDEN YEARS OF THE BULLS AND THE BASKETBALL WORLD COMPARED TO NOW.....

  • wow harper was wearing 11's

  • 11 Offensive of Rebounds

  • there's a lot of chemistry. everything's unforgettable.

  • I truly enjoy watching the scoring of everyone instead of just Jordan. Good stuff.

  • how is rodman not in the hof? npw thats nonsense at its finest.

  • The celebration at 6:00 is priceless! That pretty much placed the last nail in the coffin for the Sonics.

  • Whew did the Sonics try to fight back on this one. The Bulls had Jordan, Pippen and Rodman, while the Sonics had Kemp, Payton and Schrenff (sp).

No team that season could've challenged and fusterated the 72-10 Bulls like the Sonics did.

  • RODMAn is unbelievable.. wow!

  • whats the names of the sounds at 1:03 and at 1:24??

  • @ionaras...The sound at 1:24 is the theme music from "The Addams Family"

  • @chitown2251972 thanks

  • Bring back our Seattle Supersonics

  • @ks101794

Why so you can go down in flames again????

  • Man, watching the plays unfold with the spacing on the floor because of the triangle offense is such an incredible joy to watch.

  • hey does anybody know what kind of nike shoes toni kukoc was wearing in the 96 nba finals they were black and white but i don't know what is the name of them i had a pair back in 96 but i out growed them they were sweet!

  • 72-10! None of today's teams like Miami or the Lakers can't touch this!!!

  • man this game was so emotional for jordan what a hell of a accomplishment for him r.i.p to his dad

  • Pippen had a bad ankle injury during this post season which severely limited his offensive game off the dribble, but he still led the post season in drating and defensive win shares. I can't believe the media screwed Pippen over twice...in 95 when they gave the DPOY to Mutombo when Pippen put up the most monstrous defensive season ever by a perimeter player and then in 96 when they gave it to Payton. Gary only won it because he had such a big mouth and was basically campaigning for it.

  • @subjoy1

Harper played for the Clips for a long time before he joined the Bulls. Not even close to Lebron.

  • The shot Steve Kerr made at min 3.55 is hilarious. It went right through the basket, I mean it hit nothing but net. If there were not net it woulda just sailed through without even toughing the rim at all. What a beautiful arch and rotation he put on the ball to get that kinda result.

  • nba of this 20's sucks i like 90's nba better then now its so boring

  • One of the most epic postgame interviews ever.

  • The NBA belongs on NBC

  • Steve Kerr and Toni were great guys.

  • That crowd was hype

  • I like how THE WORM is pump up when he gets rebound after rebound....

  • @ambhoy yeah man, I mean 18 rebounds and 11 offensive rebounds, Thats sick! and then just making 9 points. Gotta love em

  • did pippen try to kick someone around 4:30

  • damn dont u think pippen deserved at least one those 6 finals mvps lool

  • i miss the 90's the 90's just in genral everyone was chill and economy was great. Bill clinton was runnin this bitch lol. and Michael was king. VCR'S were still the shit to lol

  • i would love dennis rodman to be on my team any day... Do you she his energy.. i dont think he gets tired.....

  • lol @ pippen posing after the late 3's

  • 8:42 Shannon Brown what a ballhog, let Jordan have it, letshannondunk . com

  • @TelephoneScatologica me and my friends made fun of shannon brown for years after that

  • and he wins it on fathers day

  • Dennis seriously needs to be taken seriously and be inducted into the HOF.

  • @McSpitfire yeah man thats for damn sure.

  • @McSpitfire yeah the 2 ppg guy

  • @McSpitfire 2 of his points are worth as much as 5 jumpers in a row for anyone else.

  • @McSpitfire He's the greatest rebounder of all time

  • @McSpitfire i think he already got inducted, a lot of pacers fans think reggie miller needs to be inducted as well

  • @McSpitfire : The fact that he ISN'T being taken seriously for the NBA Hall Of Fame shows how much of a travesty that league has become.

  • @McSpitfire Dennis Rodman is inducted into the HOF this year

  • @McSpitfire exactly i totally agree best rebounder, great outlet passer, strong, and consitent in the paint and can make smooth passes

  • @McSpitfire Don't worry about this it's done now ;)

  • Pippen's 3ball where he held the hand up then stared down the sonic's bench was mad SWAG, gotta love it man

  • I'm a HUGE Jordan fan, but I think you could have made a strong case for Rodman as Finals MVP in '96. He was all over the place.

  • yes... rodman was the problem for the sonics... mj had tendinitis so bad...he could take over....he admitted that after playing and training non stop since losing to the magics

  • That whole Bulls team was banged up at the end of the '96 season. I think them going all out and winning 72 games during the regular season took its toll on them in the playoffs.

  • @BrutallyH0nest Didn't they only lose 3 games in all the playoffs that year? It may of taken a toll, but they were so good it didn't really matter.

  • @cooljjjj Yeah, I think that Rodman should have gotten it that year too.

  • kukoc is so underrated. 6'10'', can shoot, dribble, moves well, and all rounder.

  • 6´11 ft actually but light built

Had Kukoc arrived earlier in theNBA he would have been a consiant All Star playing for a weaker team. Still one of the Best SFs of the 90s even though a 6th man..kind of like McHale early in his career

  • One thing I love about your uploads is it never focuses on one player. Most Bulls videos are Jordan highlight reels while ignoring the other players. I'm one of those hoops fans that enjoy seeing everyone get their due. Pippen's defense and all-around game, Rodman's rebounding, hustle and intensity.are all on display. Ron Harper, Kukoc and Kerr get in on the mix. And the video quality is some of the best I've seen. Keep it up!!

  • @OneGloriousBastard you inglorious bastard

  • I built my talents on the shoulders of someone elses talent, Jordan wrote in his 1998 autobiography, For the Love of the Game. I believe greatness is an evolutionary process that changes and evolves era to era. Without Julius Erving, David Thompson, Walter Davis, and Elgin Baylor, there would never have been a Michael Jordan. I evolved from them.

  • Really worth waiting. have been waiting so long. Thanks

  • what bulls team was the best? in the 2 3-peats

    91' 92' 93' 96'97' 98'???? what you think?

  • 96 because they won 72 games

  • @dimedropper1992 The 91-93 team's had a better starting 5 but the 96-98 team's had more depth. So i'd say the 96-98 team.

  • I like more the '91-'93 titles, but i love this team also in the 96-98' years because of the Toni Kukoc-from my country...from Croatia !

  • thanks good one

  • best team ever

  • 1st. woot. Scottie's wrist & ankle were bugging him. I'm amazed how well Dennis handled himself.
