to my mind, comparing to Moscow airports Sokol is rather small, but it is big enough to serve well. By the way, it has been redecorated (in 2005, if i'm not mistaken) inside and looks more techno-style now. But the lane is the same, sometimes you feel like you are on a roller-coaster=)

There are no military airports, it's a normal civilian airport on the 56-th km of Kolyma route, in Sokol.
