  • AT :38 "THIS IS THE GREATEST SINGER IN THE WORLD",TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN

  • I totally adore this movie as a document of the great tenor's stellar career. As a professional tenor myself, Luciano was a huge force behind the whole idea of having a singing career, and he left a massive void when he passed on. I am forever grateful to him and other great past tenors for giving me the confidence to follow my dream. This movie is completely enjoyable, and has a hallowed place in my library, alongside every Mario Lanza and Lauritz Melchior movie! Thanks for posting!

  • sublime, brought a tear to me eye-

  • Can anyone tell me who is the conductor in this area performing, please?

    Many thanks in advance

  • You may have had a reply to your question already so will already know the conductor here is Emerson Buckley, who I believe is no longer with us. He conducted the orchestra at quite a number of Pavarotti's concerts including some in China.

  • Emerson Buckley.

  • Critics claim this to have been one of the worst movies ever but I really enjoyed it, and Pavarotti's rendering of Nessun Dorma at the end was fabulous. Love the Cielo e Mar, too.

  • I love the whole movie despite the critiques. If we put aside the Pavarotti's singing which is quite superb as always it's funny :)

  • I saw this movie once, but never find it again. Can you post the last "Nessun dorma" of the movie? It's unforgettable!!! (1/2 hour at that high B)

  • I'd post it for sure. But it's already put up by another user so there you are. Just search for it by name on YouTube.

Or better yet, the Related Videos are on the right haha.

LOL! Half hour high B.. Nicely worded :P

  • I love Pavarotti, I really do, but these have to be three of the worst actors ever seen on screen at the same time. Pav can be excused because he sings like a god, but why are the other two there?

  • does anyone know the name of the song he sings at the start of the movie?

  • Yep, at the wedding, it's Schubert's Ave Maria.

  • Thanks strawmonkdy for posting this.

  • wonderful, to see luciano pavarotti and to hear him, i love him very much, endless love.

  • thanks for posting I had never seen it before. It is always nice to see him looking so good and singing so great.

  • People say this movie was a flop, but I like it very much.

It's very funny. And the singing as usual, is outstanding!!

    Luciano Pavarotti is beautiful!

  • Haha yeah. Completely agree!

  • Nice!

    I Think

    :)

  • (:D)
