He can hook up with Asuka, she likes him at lot, and isn't scared of him. All he needs to do is survive through her spine-crushing bear-hugs and he'll be just fine! ^_^

To his credit, Inaba only has eyes for Shinobu, unlike Ataru and Mendou, who flirted with other girls while dating her. Shinobu definitely deserves a nice guy like Inaba, as a reward for having put up with so much crap over the years.
