Aside Avatar.. What I like about his movies is this childish fear in your body, impossibly real, with your mind as the sole guidance, when your hands shake and you're only as brave, as solid your morals and principles are.. You let it play on you and the language of your body, the goosebumps, heartbeat, the knot in your stomach - they all tell you a story too! I guess we do all have same primal instincts, no cultural barriers there. He makes the danger to the basic sence of oneself look so real.

I think that he's a talented filmmaker. I truly do. However, he is obviously in a rut. No one goes from making Academy Award nominated films to making Golden Raspberry nominated films unless something is seriously wrong. They arent for anyone i.e. the impatient viewer who wants instant action/eye candy.

The best...Unbreakable, 6th Sense....slow build up of suspense and tension. Excellent films(A)
