  • WOW I'm coming back to this section of Youtube after smoking lol

  • That is the COOLEST! You should upload more of him! :-)

  • i shoot these muthafuckas all the time

  • @RAPREMIXER gee, you're so cool, how can you stand it.

  • It sounds like someone spilled beer on Stephen Hawking's voice synthesizer...

  • I can taAAAAAlk

  • DUBSTEP?

  • never heard more intelligible speech from a bird o_O

  • thats insane now i want one !!!

  • @AnimefreakBL9636 He is a very special little bird but is a huge commitment. He was a rescue that could not be released due to a bad foot...I love him and am glad people like you have enjoyed the videos but want to make it clear about the car. They are highly intelligent birds ...not meant to be stuck in a cage all day... They can also be territorial and can "attack" visitors

  • Well now I gotta go buy me a fuckin bird

  • @Gangu5Kahn Haha ..He was a rescue but as wonderful as he is they are a huge commitment and not the best pet bird.

  • I heard whos a pretty giiiirl at the end! XD

  • @MsDisneyland101 Yep you did...

  • @cmhhawaii ....Mmk

  • I can talk, can u fly ?

    you are (so) sweet,

hi pretty girl (? im not sure with that one)

  • @PropaneDark Yes you heard it correctly:-)

  • Haha, imagine the look of people first meeting that little fellow. "Hi birdie, can you talk?" - "I can talk, can you fly?" - O_O

  • creepy

  • i want one so badly

  • @MegaDucati99

He was a rescue but as wonderful as he is they are a huge commitment and not the best pet bird.

  • Sh-shut up! My brain is as big as your entire body! So what if I can't...fly...

  • lol .. ... -.-" JERK!

  • Its adorable

  • Amazing how it memorizes the tone of how you speak.

  • I am teaching my parrots that tomorrow... Seems like a very sweet bird and well cared for... Thank you for sharing...

  • @grumpy150 Glad you enjoyed it ...thanks for posting

  • What kind of camcorder do you have? The quality is great!

  • @recyclecongress Haha Believe it or not only an Iphone and Canon 550 powershot.

  • @cmhhawaii I'm not surprised.... Canon is my favorite for electronics. Thanks! Love the Mynah!

  • "You're so sweet... oh!"

  • So amazing....thumbs up...:)

  • maybe owner was chirping too

  • for some reason i think this video is fake...you can hear when he breaths... that's not normal

  • HAHA! The bird is taunting us humans!! "I can talk can you fly?" She is clearly the more evolved species! Very pretty girl!

  • love this especially the beginning

  • 9 people tryed to fly but failed:)

  • Oooh you mean mynahs CAN talk! lol Love this! I have a common mynah over 2 years old...she garbles "hello" when the phone rings and thats it! She says nothing else!

  • @personallyn I rescued him at@ 3days off the ground... I think he picked up on most his language very early on...I was aware they could learn to talk but I had no idea how much he would associate action with phrases until one day when my daughter-in-law and I were laughing at something he flew over to me and out of the blue started to laugh and said "you're so funny". We were in shock! After that I often repeated a phrase with my action such as in leaving I'd say I'll be right back

  • lol is it just me or did he just say, 'you are a pretty cow' at the end?

  • @blahdiyoo Kinda creepy when he puts his head down to say some words.

  • @Kuchen90000 not sure why it is creepy but Mynahs bob their heads up and down and fluff up when conversing in the wild as well

  • @blahdiyoo haha...you're a pretty girl

  • Great: I can talk, can you fly?Amazing and lovely!

  • damn this bird is EPIC!......

  • 8 people can't talk

  • Birds should be outside....why are we so obsessed with having exotic pets??? Very cute bird tho...

  • @TheCletuus I agree with you 100%.Birds are meant to be free whenever possible I rescued him off the ground at @ 3days old.. because of a bad leg he has stayed with me. What is interesting is he has flown to a park near me only to chose to come home each time. My videos were to show his intelligence but I do not encourage anyone to have one..they are a huge commitment and need a lot of love & space to be happy..they also are very territorial which can make life difficult at times:-)

  • he talking in dubstep

  • Where did you get your myna? Are they loud?

  • No, common mynah's arent loud at all, from my experience with them, unless they learn something loud, like a conure scream. And even still, it's still taken down several notches. Our mynah is a really cool bird to keep inside and not obnoxious in any way.

  • @personallyn I agree

  • @cmhhawaii one added note.. they can be obnoxious and territorial if they decide to nest in a bathroom cabinet..haha

  • @lexikalfanfic They are wild where I live and actually illegal to own. I help with rescued birds..I rescued him at @ 3 days old..He had a bad leg and was not able to be released so he became part of the family..They can be loud if you teach them loud things...Kaleo actually whispers because sometimes I whisper to him.. The rule at my house was no yelling, cuss words or whistling...

  • Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww <3 Sounds like a recording of a human! So cute!

  • Dawwww! This is an epic bird. ^^

  • he/she even gets the breath sounds! amazing!

  • Sorry, typo time... I meant Sturnus Vulgaris...

  • His voice is like that of a European starling (Sternus vulgarus). Great video. Thank you for posting. You have a friend in that bird!

  • @javakogan Yes he is a wonderful little friend..I'm glad you enjoyed the video

  • That is a great imitation. He even gets the cadence of your voice, "Pretty guuuiiiIIIRL!"

  • I love the unique sound it gives human speech by being blended with the noises of a birds voice box.

    Sounds very cool!

  • Wow, it sounds so human. How cute! But I would be so scared if I woke up and one of these birds was on my bed talking to me.

  • @AlyssaGoesToItaly Haha anyone would be if they appeared out of the blue

  • @cmhhawaii these birds are pests in my country

  • @sheyrne Every living thing has a right to live. Nothing should be killed just because it annoys someone. If it poses a threat to your life or your livelihood it's understandable, but unless you're a farmer I highly doubt it is. Anyone who kills something just because it's there is no better than a murderer to me. Yes I'm aware you don't care what I think, but I care enough to say state my opinion regardless of what you think.

  • @Heeroneko Well said. :-)

  • @cmhhawaii they appear out of everywhere

  • Wow, I had no idea this many different birds could talk.

I thought only very few could, like maybe one or two at the most

    This is incredible

  • @BuddyWillis agreed

  • I have a Mynah Bird too.. but it's only 2 months old.. when will they start talking? very curious!

  • @MinahBelohz In my experience with Kaleo he did not start talking until @ 6 months & after two years learning new phrases diminished. Kaleo is free most the time and very happy. We talked to him all the time when we realized he could not be released into the wild because of a bad leg...he gets lots of love and attention

  • cool, sweet bird, THUMBS UP if you saw Carry on Behind and lolled at the bird :D

  • holy shit.

  • This is one of the cutest talking bird videos on youtube!

  • "I can talk, can you fly?" Thats a great phrase to teach a bird!

  • Behind the voice is actually.... (insert villain of the day name)

  • im teaching my bird to say cocksucker

  • @stomp919 lol nice

  • @stomp919.. I'm not sure that is something to be proud of

  • All I thought was... if instead of saying "girl" it said "bird"... I would've been like, "Petey!?!"

  • mynahs are one of the smartest birds and can have a wide vocabulary. this is sweet!

  • OMFG!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

  • >:O CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTEEE!!!!

  • 0_o is thay normal?

  • @2DeadDiamonds no, but on meth it is :-)

  • That is just so precious! x

  • There used to be a Mynah bird at the local pet store that would catch a ping pong ball in his beak. He leaned his head back & said "Hi ho SiLLLLL VER!"

  • hi pretty girl , u'r a pretty girl .

I', in love how see produce these sounds so intelligent really!!

  • Sounds like someone remixing common sentences.

  • I've seen birds nearly twice his size who couldn't talk as well as this one...

  • scary xD

  • I'm gonna teach one to say "9/11 was an inside job"

  • i'm a pretty girl

  • TOO CUTE!!

  • I like he puts his down and as he raises his head while saying talk, he like rolls his a. I can taaaaaalk.

  • PEDOBEAR APPROVES!

  • @TheTavvyrei I'm just saying that's disturbing, BTW.

  • I like the way he says the first line..

  • @MrJuhoR Yes you are.

  • it would be the best beatboxer ever!

  • ohh mynah's talking not chirping. i like it all

  • Comment removed

  • 6 people don't know birds can talk if taught.

    Other than that he's beautiful!

  • Why is it that most English speaking birds seem to have an accent? The birds that pick up other languages (i.e. Chinese) seem to mimick almost perfectly. It must be because English and American owners like to "baby" their birds. :P

  • @Liuhuayue It's probably because there are people speaking english all around the world and they have different accents, so the birds have the same accents as them..

  • Oh course I can fly!

  • soo most birds talk 0_o

  • should a nice lady venture back to your flat, it would seem you have the perfect wingman

  • "I can talk, can you fly?"

    "I can talk PBBBBFFFFFT."

    Awesome bird.

  • He speaks so clearly and with such expression! An amazing bird.

  • I love how it imitates the breathing as well. What a neat bird.

  • That sounded very creepy.

  • Aw..I WANT ONE.

  • "your so sweeet" ?

you've been saying you're a pretty girl to her!

    awwwww

  • ww-soo cute!

  • Imagine hearing that while walking alone at night.

  • he is adoroble

  • its also sayin oh ur a pretty girl

  • "There is no dumb people, but the dumb teacher. The smart teacher is the teacher who can make everybody smart, even the monkey" - Chinese philosophy. And now, there's a smart teacher that even can make the bird talks.

  • Oh well, his english pronunciation in better than mine... this is totally demotivational

  • thums up if you agree the bird sometimes looked like it was about to pop O_o

  • I felt so pwnt.... Pwnt by a bird...

  • She speaks so clearly! It's too bad they don't actually know what they're talking about...

  • What a vocabulary!

  • I fear if more ppl know about Mynahs, they will start to transport them to the world. But it´s great how he talks

  • What a beauty

  • at first, it sounded like Dr.Richtofen from Nazi Zombies!

  • We lived in Hawaii for years. I would hear the mynah birds "meoow" in the trees at our cats. They often fell from nests and were abandoned by their parents for days. I took them to a local pet rescue. N

  • Great diction. Sounds just like my African gray. I thought grays were the best at mimicking

  • Huxley island

  • I want one

  • wow! thats just awesome.

  • He's quoting the incredibles haha

  • myna can talk better than parrot

  • That is amazing...he was making the noises of someone breathing in aswell lol :) Amazing

  • Wow. I thought only parrots could talk this is awesome!

  • @Pkbucket Actually, most birds can talk, if you work really hard with them. I had a parakeet that could say a few words like, hi, hello, bye, etc. when I was young. But she couldn't speak in short sentences like Parrots, and a few other birds can do.

  • Oh goodness, a bird with an American accent! how strange....BUT we have starlings here who mimic car alarms really well, and also mimic men's wolf whistles

  • I'm always amazed by starlings and other similar birds, I'd love to own one but would not be able to take care of it properly. If I ever found an injured baby or fledgling, I'd likely take it in but would also probably bring it to a rehab clinic.

  • Hi. pretty girl. LOL

  • kaleo your myna is beautyfull ! i was having a myna who cry like small humen baby U ! when i saw her 1st time crying like baby i cant believe my eyes ! now shes not alive and i dont hve a video of her shit

  • So you say Kaleo's a he...but he says "I'm a pretty girl." Flatter yourself much XD

    He's a very lucky bird :)

  • psycho

  • Mynah birds belong to the same family as Crows and Ravens and are some of the smartest animals on the planet, including some humans I know :)

  • Wow only 1 dislike? That must be a new record lol

  • wtheck! its a puffer bird!!! did anyone notice that?????

  • thats cool but i find it hard to have sex with it

  • Thumbs up!! Thumbs WAY up!!!

  • What a lovely creature. She certainly has a gift with speech!

  • sounds like a mad sientist u should teach him to say.I WILL RULE THE WORLD

  • @blakasassin1 lolz hahah that would be real funny hahah

  • Brown mynahs are intelligent birds! Here in Singapore, they're less boisterous than the feral Black mynahs, and I love how they interact with humans. Once, I was having popcorn in the pak, when a pair strolled past. They hopped to my feet & fluffed-up into an irresistably cute ball... and just stared at me! Like this: (O.o) I melted & flicked a couple of golden nuggets - boy were they happy! God, they're cute, just like cats! :D

  • Imaging this mynah bird and a lyre bird getting together...they would talk for hours......"Im a pretty girl".."No No Im a pretty girl" ........

  • Where im from, mynahs are everywhere.... some people even consider them a nuisance...

  • Hahahaha, I can talk, can you flyyy??? LOL! Sounds like a line from a movie before the cop shoots the bad guy.

  • reminds me of one of those spin and say toys! I can't remember the exact name but I think thats what they were called.

    amazing bird !

  • Wow, what a beautiful bird. My great grandmother used to have a mynah. I've always been curious about them.

  • "I can talk, can you fly"

    "aww your a pretty girl"

    "your very sweet aww how"

    "hi pretty girl"

    wow

so man phrases can i have him D:

  • Oh I LOVE Kaleo!!!!!!!!!!

  • It sounds like an Audio Diary in Bioshock :)

    but still epic!

  • LOL It sounds like a serial killers voice on the end of a phone.....

  • You obviously have taken great care of her! I can tell by how neat her plumage is and because she is repeating the things you have said to her.

  • I have seen one of these birds that could laugh just like a human. They are very smart birds!

  • My most precious Mynah ,Toop Toop, just like Kaleo, died 2 months ago from bumblefoot- I've never loved anything more than him, had him for 10yrs. 11mths, and he should have lived for another 10yrs.-he used to roam the garden and race in the door when "danger" was imminent. He loved chicken and rice plus many fruit, and to keep him from haemacromatosis, i'd give him corriander leaves to chelate the excess iron. Thank you to you and your husband and 'Our' little Kaleo-with much love, Australia x

  • WOW
