@shadowprophet88 Up their asses? The whole series of the Venture Brothers is build around absurd concepts being real. Hell, they have even had aliens on the show before. If Treister has a plan I trust it is a damned fine (if not somewhat crazy) one.

@droogster I finally nailed down who the News Team is modeled after thanks to an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. It was a REALLY obscure superhero team called Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters. They're not perfect analogues, but pretty close: U.S. Steel - Uncle Sam, Barbie-Q - Doll Man, Ghost Robot - Human Bomb/Phantom Lady, and Neville Brown (the latino bird guy, not sure they ever give him a superhero name) - Condor

Same here, most likely it's just something composed by the folks that make The Venture Bros. so awesome. I even like this better than the butter glider song.
