I have exactly the same memories of Brighton during the fifties. Lovely Sunday Night Open Air, then the march back to the Congress Hall. - Happy Days !. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing quiet like a Salvo band.I remember the fifties when congregations were huge in Brighton England and had Senior Band,Young peoples band and the songsters with the timbrels. Marching back to the Congress Hall was a grand sight, the march seemed like a mile long.Guess those days have gone forever. Thanks for the post.
Can anyone tell me the name of the first hymn played??
