Albert, you're wrong about the CPU. CULVs are not just "UNDERCLOCKED" Core 2 duos. They're different in terms of "Form Factor" and BTW SU7300 has 3MBs of L2 cache not 6MBs. you really need to get your facts straight and choose your words wisely. they didn't just take a core 2 processor and "underclock it", the entire chipset was in fact designed to operate with better efficiency at this very very low voltage (and speed step). this in conjunction with the intel video card and motherboard chipset is the real power saver. simply "underclocking" a processor does not give 12 hrs of battery life, there are plenty of laptops in the market that does this and only get 4...

i just bought this from amazon. Yes it's really good, feels solid and not filmsy, everything was smooth! VERY SMOOTH compared to Atom processors! able to watch 720 HD video smoothly via VLC (thanks to it's 4gb ddr3? ) awesome !

Haha, a shit processor? It gives the notebook almost 12 hours on a battery charge. What do you want? The new UL30VT has the same low voltage processor with a discrete Nvidia GPU and it outperforms the Mac Book... for less than $800! Did you also know that the Asus automatically overclocks the CPU? These things are pretty incredible for the size and weight.

This thing is only for basic computing, net surfing, watching movies although it doesn't have an optical drive, and easy portability. Acer (1810T-8638/8679) has a model with the same exact components but is only 11.6" in size so if you want near netbook size and performance look elsewhere. Gamers will want to look at 14" and larger lappys for their needs.
