My point being is how can we tell unbeleivers that Christ is who the bible says he is when all the world see is us running our mouths and never seeing the POWER of Christ operate in our lives. Dr. Price was saying no one is going to believe, that Jesus can bless them if you ain't blessed . And I mean beyond just saying, " he woke me up, and started me on my way", LOL. We must get rid of the POVERTY MENTALITY, body of Christ.

But Christ gives what the devil cannot, peace and soundness of mind IN poverty, the ability to still love Christ even when we have nothing. THAT the devil cannot give. The power of Christ is NOT in His ability to give us things. That's not in the Bible. The power of Christ is to give salvation.

@TheFavoredt And as I have pointed out before, it's not about a "poverty mentality" but about the mentality of Scripture. Where does Scripture teach us that our main goal is to get rich? It doesn't. Yet these prosperity preachers are always misrepresenting the Bible and distorting it to manipulate people to "give" so that they can "get" more into their ministries, and then God will give to them. Sorry, but I don't buy that nonsense.

But it's like this, I think where he was coming from was that say for example, a reformed crackhead living on the streets were to try to tell you how to live, would you be receptive? I think that's where he was coming from. Fact is, the circumstances in which we live speak as a testimony to others. Those who are lost, only see things from the material point of view, if you got something to show, it "can" be a better testimony.

The problem is, as ministers of the Gospel they need to come from the Scriptures accurately interpreted. People are not brought to Christ and saved by our circumstances but by the God's word spoken and the Spirit working. You don't have to be in God's will to have something to "show." Only one nit-picky thing: being that scripture states we are not to be in equal fellowship with those in darkness, I would not personally call Mr. Price "Brother Price". The rest is right on the money. God is no respecter of persons in regards to "man made classes" (Jas 2:1).

PraiseYeshua. I try to do things differently according to the intended audience. People in Copeland and Price's congregations might not take me seriously if I refute these guys in spikes. So, I took them off for this series. I call Price "brother" because a) I believe he's a true believer and b) a true believer can be in error in doctrine and still be a Christian. I can't judge the hearts, but I can tell false doctrine.

Point taken bro. I will concede that that's possible to hold the "name it and claim it" doctrine and be a true believer. My Godmother led my mother to the Lord when she was carrying me and she's big on the prosperity gospel, yet she's a strong woman of God. I am against the teachings of Copeland, Hinn et. al when they teach we are little 'gods'. Keep up the great work :)

PY. Yes, I've learned to be careful about claiming people are not Christian based on certain doctrines. I have believed false things in my past, but I grew out of them with prayer and further study. The key is to be humble enough to admit when you are wrong. I fear people like Copeland and Price may not be able to accept proper correction.

devilslayer888. I've done several without sunglasses and even Road Warrior pads. Glad you liked the video. As for taking down the issue of the books excluded from the Bible, there are many good books on that topic. One of the best is F.F. Bruce's "The Canon of Scripture."
