I have been interested in and reading about the shooting since I was 12, when it happened. I have a lot of questions and suspicions, believe there was probably a conspiracy, one involving Oswald, and a lot of crackpots out there. I have watched this footage hundreds of times and fail to see how the blown out portion of his head indicates a front shot or, for that matter, looks like a massive wound in the rear as so many claim. There may be damage to the rear but the side of his head is gone.

JFK was shot twice. He was shot at about 3 times. As absurd as this may sound, the driver was the one who ended it. If you look in the video you can see him turn around and look at Kennedy, he turns around again right before the fatal shot. You can see a silver object and if you pause it at the right time you can see a casing fly off. This shows that the driver shot kennedy with a handgun. Most likely a 45 and that would explain the immense blood explosion.

I have been interested in and reading about the shooting since I was 12, when it happened. I have a lot of questions and suspicions, believe there was probably a conspiracy, one involving Oswald, and a lot of crackpots out there. I have watched this footage hundreds of times and fail to see how the blown out portion of his head indicates a front shot or, for that matter, looks like a massive wound in the rear as so many claim. There may be damage to the rear but the side of his head is gone.

Today, people have analyzed the shot at Kennedy and it is in fact only one shot. The shot merely grazed his neck bone, and not the head. The shot then was redirected by his neck bone, hitting N.E in the chest and going through his lungs, stopping at his thigh. His face bursting open was from the force of the shot which created about a 2 inch diameter hole.

the entry point comes from NE front of JFK, as the bullet was (apparently) filed down to give a flat tip to it, this is what can cause the shattering effect , even at long range using something like a springfield rifle or even a converted .22

It definately was NOT the driver who shot him. His head jolted forwards meaning that the shot came from the back, and the spray of blood came out of the front of his head which means that that was the exit wound.

finally, if a shot came from the grassy knoll, it would have passed very close to abraham zapruder (who made the film) from behind him and almost over his head. believe me, he would have realised; as would many other eye wintesses. shots coming from the building would have been harder to locate acoustically because of its elevated position and hard surfaces on which the sounds would have reverberated. which is why witnesses found it difficult to say where they came from

also, if he was shot from the front, it would be more likely that the back of his head would expel the mist of brain matter and exhibit more damage. if you align the wounds of the TX mayor and that of kennedys, assuming they are the same shot (both react simultaniously to the torso shot indicating that they are) the trajectory of the round leads straight to the supposed window of the texas book depository

ok. first, that shot is entirely possible and not that difficult with a scoped rifle. second, there were allegedly 3 shots fired: 1st a miss, 2nd a centre mass shot which also hit TX mayor in the back, 3rd a headshot - typical zeroing pattern that you would expect. third, the direction of movement of the head is no relation to bullet trajectory, he lurched backwards due to involuntary muscle reaction and explelled gasses pushing his head to the rear

There are also videos on Youtube available showing his testimony that he never received any legal counsel or any fair treatment. One of the groups he infiltrated wanted to kill Kennedy, and he reported this in the telex sent to the FBI on the evening of Nov. 21. Most of the brain matter hit the Connallys. The autopsy showed bevelling in the inside back of Kennedy's skull consistent with an entry wound. The bullet that left Kennedy's throat was an exit bullet and the entry wound on Connally showed evidence of being "tumbling" which only happens if it hit something before it hit him. And of course, the bullet never had to turn it all, it was in perfect alignment to hit Connally after it exited Kenendy.

It's not like they lost it and couldn't autopsy it. Bobby Kennedy wrote a letter and asked for it and other materials to be delivered to Kennedy's old secretary Evelyn Lincoln. It was delivered to Mrs. Lincoln by JFK's personal physicians who verified he saw it. Bobby's secretary then took charge of this material from Mrs. Lincoln and this is when it disappeared. It's likely the family wanted it buried.

I've seen that zapruder film just before the head shot the car slows down and as soon as it hits the film dramatically speeds up as if they edited out the area where it has been said by observers that the car actually stopped..
I think when the cia and fbi got the zapruder film they edited it to make it seem like the head shot exit wound was at the front

i totally agree with sumfamousperson17, it was like she was prepared for it. If someone was sitting inches close to me in a car, and their head got blown off, i would be like......"k wtf just happened" and then i would faint, but she was liek "MUST...GATHER...BRAAINNS.."

Everyone reacts differently in traumatic events. To base your whole decision on weather YOU would have done it that way is ridiculous. Tell you what, get a loved ones head blown off in a moving car and see what you do, it's probably not gonna go according to your plan.

Look again, from ALL possible angles. Take it frame by frame. That's "muzzle blast" you think you see is the sun reflecting off the windshield. It's consistent with the position of the sun and the direction they're headed in. I've literally studied this for 20 years. My father was a press photographer in the basement, in Dallas when Oswald was shot. You can see him in the footage.

He wasn't shot in the face. The bullet hit him in the back of the head and blasted open the front top right of his skull - you can't see his face because a flap of scalp with skull attached dangled over the right side of his face.

as conspiracy theories go, lee oswald was a CIA operative trying to prevent the assassination. Oswald was shot as well, so punishment was brandied around but as the saying goes american "innocence" died that day.

Kennedy was NOT shot by the driver.
Look carefully: the appearance of a gun in his hand is an optic illusion made by both the edge of the chauffeur door AND the sun on the passenger head!
EVEN MORE important: Kennedy's head, after shot, goes BACK and LEFT, therefore the shot could NOT have come from the driver: IF the driver had shot JFK, the victim's head would have moved back and RIGHT.
Period!

It IS true, however, that the driver SLOWED down the limousine in a very suspectful manner... as if he was only waiting for the FATAL shot.
You don't even NEED to see Stone's movie to be convinced this was NOT done by a single shooter, just common sense.

The drivers .45 was such that the bullet hit Kennedy's skull moving it back to the left. You can see muzzle action on enhanced film. Jackie is trying to escape from the driver, she thought she was next. Driver acted because the he thought Kennedy would survive the neck shot, he had orders to 'finish him off' if the grassy knoll sniper missed. Notice the police escort was ordered to stay behind the car, not on the sides where it would normally be to sheild the Prez.

JFK was shot twice. He was shot at about 3 times. As absurd as this may sound, the driver was the one who ended it. If you look in the video you can see him turn around and look at Kennedy, he turns around again right before the fatal shot. You can see a silver object and if you pause it at the right time you can see a casing fly off. This shows that the driver shot kennedy with a handgun. Most likely a 45 and that would explain the immense blood explosion.

Assuming there were three shots and the first was a miss, from the time of the throat shot, Oswald had over 8 seconds to shoot the "head shot." For a slowly moving target 88 yards away, that's a lot of time for a marine marksman.
