  • Hello,

This clip just made me wonder how would a duet of this and the original sound like, I admire your talent. And I will try to make a duet with a friend if we'll have a little time. Right now I need to study something different and don't have much time, but I'll keep in mind to try this. Thank you for posting all these videos, I've watched them all, but not recently, I will take a look again when can, I find it somehow inspiring.

  • Beautiful.

  • can can ??

  • wow amazing! tuyện vời quá!

  • amazing grandpa !

  • I`m really impressed!!!! wow.... great

  • Nice. Great work! :)

  • i love this

  • i will learn this

i think i fall in love with classical music

  • Sir, you are GREAT !!!!

  • foarte bine :)

  • you are a master of Romance -:-:)

    love your work very much

  • MAESTRO JAJAJA ERES BUENISOMO KAMRA

  • compared to the ragtime version this sounds rather poor...still, very nice.

  • this is beautiful!!!!

  • great!!!!

  • i learned this in one day but i can't play this nearly as good as him!!!XD

    grooovy

hey man he played rly well so lay off.

  • cool, this is so catchy haha

  • lol its not pretty great its AWSOME!!!! u rock dude lol i wana b able to play like u

  • pretty Great

  • vegie buger fish ur completely wrong dont listen to him man romantic doesnt mean the whole love n all that crap its from a period o time in bachs time when they had to take a break from baroque and romanzas are usually played in a minor tonality p.s. hersoveela dont worry man keep rockin dude;)

  • well, actually bach was a baroque composer, but beethoven, chopin, liszt, paganini etc. were romantic composers.

  • cool

  • I may seem like a loser for asking this, but does anyone know the tabs for this or know where to get them?

  • sorry to correct you, but anything can be tabbed in guitar basically, and i've found plenty of tabs for this.

  • Yeah, he posted the link to the tab PDF in the other video

  • it would take me 50 + yrs to ever learn how to play like that. Very beautiful...

  • Nah, not 50 years, just about 3 months. I bought a guitar at christmas, I knew nothing about guitar, and now I play it almost completely. It's an easy song.

  • are you kidding. this is one of the first songs you learn to play and you can do it in one month of practising everyday for 1 hour at most.

  • 50 years? for this piece 5 weeks is more than enough

  • yo sal.. I read the comment ealier to mine.. well.. nice interpretiation of the song. you are in sulting the "original" beauty of romance.. however the beauty that arouses is yours.. not the origial.. so in my words you rock in your own way.. keep it up

  • Sal,

I also love your block chord version.

    Magnifique!

  • I have other videos that you might find uglier and more insulting than this one. At least you stopped long enough to write your comment. I really do appreciate your feedback. It's important to me to be reminded sometimes that I have 2 choices when I play music. I can either try to please everybody, OR I can continue on the more noble path of simply being myself, regardless of what anybody thinks. I choose option 2 every time. When I read your comment it made me smile. Thank you for that.

    Sal

  • lmao you told him!

  • @hersoveela Bravo Maestro! Great response!

  • @hersoveela in my opinion it sounded like a more upbeat romance :),

    very good in my opinion

  • @hersoveela sorry to bring this up 2 years later lol, but i wanted to say bloody well said! i get sick of seeing moronic comments on videos such as yours an you well and truly, put them in their place! i thought i was a good cover and compliment anyone brace enough to put there work on youtube! good job!

  • @conradlangley Thank you. There will always be idiots. I see these YouTube trolls as brainless zombies with no purpose in life. These losers typically have nothing to show for themselves and seem to get a cheap thrill from disrespecting the efforts of others. What can you do. No effort = no life = you may as well be dead when you consider how little this mindless existence has to offer.

  • @hersoveela mindless self indulgence

  • @hersoveela lovely

  • @hersoveela I liked it. Thanks for posting all the tabs. Veggieburgerfish is too earnest. Romance is the sweet perfume nature uses to hide the poopie stink of parenthood. I hope he's mellowed since he commented.

  • mis respetos

  • That was pretty good.

    --Van

  • do anyone noe where can i find the classical guitar notes for the piece??........

    thanks alot!!!

  • Follow the link in the video description box to download the sheet music

  • came to accidently listen again. nice simple and not melancholy... tone of understanding love simply

  • Nice guitar...It sort of looks like the frets are scalloped...Are they?...Nice playing on all your other vids by the way.

  • Another spendid version.

  • @ anophel91

Go on ultimate-guitar(dot)com and search for "Romance" or "Spanish Romance". You'll find a normal Tab and now it should be easy to make the block chord version from the normal version. If not, try to watch it out and play for yourself ;)

  • You are absolutely right. This would be so easy to work out it sounds like a joke when people ask for tabs. However i did end up writing out the sheet music. Click on the link in this video description.

  • i play romance 2 and im just a starter i play classical music but im just a started i play for francisco the etude Eminor the 2 versions, etude in C, romance, another romance but its veeeery romantic but different hehe and SCARBOUROUGH FAIR. pllz i need help in classic i want something which makes me go in feeeling i need help from our musical friends or send me tabs or anything hhhhhh my email the_death_of_evil its hotmail

  • can you send me the tab? thx :D

  • After watching you playing this romance I decided to try it myself. What I have learnt is that actually, as simple as it seems to be, it is very subtle. May be that is why it difficult to find a perfect recording of this piece on youtube. So ... thank you Sal. It is such a pleasure to watch you playing and read your materials on the site. thanks.

  • what happens when you play these classical songs?

  • I hate this piece... even your interpretation doesn't change anything to it :-)

  • Thanks for sharing that with me.

  • Sal, it is really cool variation on the theme. but why does it sound like a Russian march? Is not it supposed to be something women should melt and cry while listening to? Or it is a male flamenco interpretation for men marching with their muletas to kill a bull?

  • Two words. Artistic licence. I have other variations which do not sound romantic all. Call it revision or a cover if you like. Actually I meant this variation to sound like a waltz, but I suppose it could be seen as a March. I find it fascinating how different people hear different things in music. someone said they thought my Dead Pirate Song had the folk style of old Russian Bards. I suppose it does, but trust me, that was the last thing on my mind at the time.

  • I've never heard Romance in this light. Very unique take!

  • INTRESTING!!

  • bok gibi

  • felt like I was in Greece listening to that rendition!

  • i'm gonna learn this song by the end of the yar. just watch me. by the way, this was great! totally pro.

  • I learned it in one day......my first day of playing guitar...when I was 10.

  • Very impressive. Never heard that version before. You are excellent.

  • Yes, wonderful, and very well framed in the camera... for educational purposes!!! I love it!

  • perfect.

  • Sal, you da man!!! You kick ass!

  • you are great...can you watch my block chord and tremolo videos and comment to me?Because I want to know my mistekes...

  • AWESOME

  • Makes me want to run, get my liederhosen and dance around.

    Sounds great!

  • hahahahah!!

  • rock on dude

  • it is very funny

  • loved!

  • REALY CLEAN!!!

  • You rock, man!

  • that was awesome, i loved it well done!

  • man, your so damn good

  • :O I know this song! I just don't know what it's called!

  • there's a clue in the title

  • I like this version very much

  • oh yes, very talented!!
