This was glorious! Thanks so for posting this...granted very young Vickers - but he had it all even from the beginning! And good gracious Likova - never heard of her before - but EGAD she is wonderful - and ballerina pointe work is truly icing on the cake! Loved the staging - including the use of the children - and even the way that the cast honors are on the poster on the ground at the very end! WOW

Look at the hand movement on the side of the head at approximately 1:08. A gesture he kept throughout his entire career.You'll see it in Peter Grimes.
