I only ever taught part time and never had benefits. But I think I know where you were going. Frankly, here in Ca. there are more than a few teachers who are 'credentialled' as defined by the great Marnie. And in some cases it doesn't bother me a bit.

I cracked up seeing you click your heels in the rest room.

I had my fair share of covering weddings too.

But I did not do photography, (worse) I did video coverage and editing.

In one wedding, the parent's of the bride gave such a hard time. I remember them dictating me on what to shoot most of the time. It was sooooo frustrating. Good thing they did not meddle with my editing.

I only did about three wedding audio-visual presentations then I stopped. I figured it's worth the mental stress. :-(
