@wockeez27 If you did the scan through the night and you slept while it detected the viruses, it automatically disinfected or deleted them and left the results to look like "X objects scanned, X detected" (X means how many) but didn't copy or moved them to the quarantine. Don't ask me why, because i don't know. But if your PC has been infected for several days, then i recommend checking your PC with Malwarebytes.

Kaspersky is one of the best Anti virus / Internet security program available. Kaspersky is worth the money for using it. There are a million video's on youtube to get illegal serials and keys. Don't fall for it. Making your illegal kaspersky internet or anti virus work you will get infested by other malware and trojan. Just buy the program. It is way better to pay and have a legit copy. I'm very pleased by this program it detects all sorts of malware / trojans and viruses.

IMO, Kaspersky Internet Security with Comodo Firewall ((Disable one firewall so they don't conflict, I prefer Comodo's)) is the best firewall/anti-virus combo you can have. This allows you to have defense+ and Comodo sandbox, which are what makes CIS so good, and Kaspersky, which has the best AV signature detection in the world IMO. You would have to go through literally thousands of links just to get infected, ((That or answering defense+ alert wrong, assuming Kaspersky doesn't catch it)).

i have avast free 5 and is really good i have 1 year with the same hhd and after hundreds of crack and keygens a just have 2 virus not detected for the avast a kay gen for sony vegas and a crack for tuneup utilities 2010

I hate Kaspersy. I only have 2 GB of ram, and this thing made my computer slow down severely, did a full scan one night and it said it was going to take it 11 hours. so I decided not to put up with that and deleted this thing. It might be an ok app for some of the higher end computers, but for a low end machine like mine, Kaspersky is horrible. I now have Norton 360 and my PC performs much better. And I know you can buy more ram, but the stuff is expensive. $50 for a 1GB stick here

If you're referring to the list next to the radar, those numbers stay there forever but it doesnt mean you have malware on the PC. Its a running total of malware found. You can download a different skin that will allow you to reset the counters.

All the bs about KIS slowing down your machine is not true.Its only true if you have too little RAM,or a crummy CPU.

Actually 2010 is better than ever.I stopped using KIS 2 years ago,because I thought it was too heavy,but after having tried most of whats out there,and especially after having tried KIS again (2010),I bought a 2 years license.This suite rock guys.

My opinion is that Eset is better than Kaspersky. It is much lighter on ram usage, it has a huge detection database, and it's more user-friendly than Kaspersky.

within the last 24 hours, kaspersky in known to have the fastest signature detection in the av world, usually a few hours and something is detected by signatures.
