@dubclot Well, considering Scratch Perverts have been around in one form or another for a while, many of these "adults" who are probably only in their 20s or early 30s grew up listening to these guys. So fuck off.
do you require SIA licenced security to sky dive? no. this is a event that attracts over 80,000 peope, i dont see any glum faces at the barriers, you HAVE to have barriers to stop the minority of drugged up pricks fromrunning onto the stages wher there is £100000's worth of equipment! also, people going on peoples shoulders are a danger to surrounding people should they fall, i hold a SIA door supervisor licence, there just precautions to keep the day as safe as possible.
i do see your point (in some way) as im only 18 myself and go to these events! but at the end of the day the security staff are doing what theyve been instructed to do. it has to be done, no one looks annoyed or sad about the fencing or the security staff. they all co-operate with the staff wilingly and have no chew aboutit, which leads me to believe that this did not effect them enjoying the event :)
What is the song they play after house of pain?

Hate the way the staff are asking people to get down from shoulders. Also hate the way there are barriers there.

Every other festival manages just fine without those precautions. Live a little.
Can't stand the paternalism.
Do Sky Divers dive for their own safety? No.
They do it for the thrill.
