  • How is the connecctions set up on there? I see you got a T-connection in the tank, where it looks like the pump is going into the bottom end, and that feeds the grow bed. But what's that other tube off the left side which appears to go right back into the tank?

I LOVE all the systems though! God forbid you ever have a power failure.

  • @StogieFarts I have a generator for backup power... And it is in the plan to get UPS for these systems. Yes the some of the water goes strait back into the tank. This is how I control the water flow to the grow bed. I don't want any unnecessary back pressure on the pump so I let the excess water return to the fish tank. Pumps last longer with out excessive back pressure. It is also good idea to have a spare pump on hand at all times. Cleaning pumps often also aids in there longevity.

  • It's looking great!

  • Great job everything is looking great. I am going to try and finish up building my first system this weekend. :)

  • @spafa9 Well you going to put a video of it up? I'd like to see it.

  • That is exactly what I'm afraid of...I just started with Hydroponics and the next thing you know I'll have them and Aquaponics systems everywhere. ha

  • @bradgray51 There are worst things than growing your own food...I try to focus on the more expensive and the easiest stuff to grow.

  • Ever try growing potatoes hydroponicly?
