People say Michael Bay is crap but 100% of the MB films i've seen i've enjoyed and my friends agree.

Transformers 3 was not all that great, its not as great as it could have been.. Had it been directed by a director who knows how to make movies, it would have lived up to the greatness of the first Transformers.. Once again I conclude the only GREAT Michael Bay films are The Rock, Armageddon and the first Transformers

If he had surrendered, he would have been saved by Optimus and the Autobots, think about it man.. You don't even know what you're talking.. The fact that Sentinel made a deal to join the Decepticons is what alienated the fans, including me.. And hence, I consider it the most retarded moment in the movie, and it just dumbed down the excitement..
@KeeperoftheKnife That's becuase it is. Bay re-used footage from The Island becuase during the shooting of that particular scene they injured an extra who later sued Paramount about it. So they couldn't use the actual intended footage and had to use other footage, Bay used The Island becuase it's setting matched the closest to where he shot the freeway chase.

That bogged down the movie, not to mention the number of plot holes it created.. @Mordor6121512 optimus and sentinal DID want the same thing but they had different ways of doing it. sentinal wanted to surrender because he lost his faith in himself and in his mind he thought it was the right thing to do. optimus wouldnt surrender cuz its not in his character (hes the"stay the course and never give up"kinda guy) he would rather die than see the decepticons take over earth. i know Senti used to be the leader but characters change its called "character development"

@KeeperoftheKnife That's becuase it is. Bay re-used footage from The Island becuase during the shooting of that particular scene they injured an extra who later sued Paramount about it. So they couldn't use the actual intended footage and had to use other footage, Bay used The Island becuase it's setting matched the closest to where he shot the freeway chase.
