@lorilynneottley - If one who quits paying is absolutely stealth, play dead, no known job, phone, assets, banks, relatives, until the statue of limitations expires, he's off the hook if no suit "was" filed. They typically wont sue a "nobody" (stealth). I've seen people escape 50k like this. Then, wait maybe 6 months past the statute of limitations and get yourself a secured card and start to rebuild.
