Not bad, aside from the pain in the ass audio/video synching problems that will happen. And props for jamming with the hoodie on...I'd probably die within a couple minutes haha. Also I disagree with not hitting as hard, drums are meant to be hit hard! Technique will definitely improve over time, I don't think yours is that bad.

Good cover but don't hit your kit so hard. You have a good coordination but your hand tehnique is weak. I'm playing mostly metal (i'm thinking about making some cover and posting it at youtube) in wich without good tehnique I would break some of my muscules. You need to practise alot your wrists on snare drum (it's so boooring, I know...) but you have to if you want to healthy rock on drums rest of your life :)

Hey Aurora, do you use a PA? I often suggest using a mixer, a couple mics, and headphones. I think your timing issues were mostly due to your monitoring. Either way keep up the good work and def join a band.

So, could you put your hats about 4-6 inches higher (so you're playing them with the side of your stick when your smashing) and on the tips for the extra dynamic when you bring it down a notch. And.Put your snare almost flat so you can play rimshots when you turn up the gas.(not lie your stick down.when you hit the snare and the rim at the same time it's huge) I promise it'll pay off.

There are a load of bits you messed up on and you did go out of time on some parts. You should try recording this again as towards the end it's a bit unbearable to listen to. Express dynamics in this listen to Taylor when he plays on the track because you are hitting the drums too hard in areas of the song.

Don't take the feedback the wrong way, I watched your 'Emergency' drum cover and it's great, you're a good drummer. Just remember that it all comes down to how accurately you play the song.
