i am running 64bit windows 7 and i have a iphone 3gs that appears to be stuck in recovery loop. it shows the connect to itunes image. iv tried running recboot to kick it out of recovery mode but it is not working. i left it for 6 hours and there was no change. the iphone lights up, shows the apple logo, spins around, shows the green pois0n skull and then after about 30 seconds the screen goes black and then the cycle begins again. how can i fix this? i am stuck and dont know how to fix it.
@Unformedfaith he is using ireb on sn0wbreeze. i just used it on my ipod 4th gen ios 5.0.1 i got in my recovery loop wen i succesfully downgraded to ios 4.3.3 without shsh blobs then i went to jailbreak it to finish the process and i got the loop. this ireb works as of today

@lilbush81 I did all that. Still the error 23 on iTunes. Even with Redsnow didn't work. :( Redsnow doesn't need iTunes to restore. Didn't work since I jailbroke my iPhone with Blackra1n before. Now my FW is Blackra1n. Only way to get rid of Blackra1n is to restore FW with iTunes. Error 23 is a problem where the baseband can't be read by iTunes. There's no way to fix that for 3G, 2G can though. My iPhone has turned into an iTouch !!! D: No wi-fi, bluetooth or sim. :(
I searched on Google & I on a website, it said that reddy.exe is a virus. I think it's a dangerous virus I'm not sure. I installed LIBUSB myself & all of a sudden my computer crashed & froze. Then I had to shut down & resetart. On the login screen my keyboard, mouse & speaker didn't work. This LIBUSB destroyed my comp !!! I had to go to 'Safe mode' then restore my comp back to a date before I installed LIBUSB on my comp. Then my computer started working fine. Hope I helped !!! :D

You haz a tethered jailbreak every time you reboot you run blackra1n from YOUR pc & it saves the jb & all data,ppl are @ work for a non-tethered jailbreak hopefully they release soon :)
the reason for that is becasue you didnt follow the instructions in installing the libusb right click on the setup and go to copalibilty and make sure its running in xp mode :) follow instructions and you wont get the error----operator erron dont feel bad i did it twice :)
@SASHA1536 dude you have a tethered jailbreak meaning when you power cycle your iphone you need to run blackra1n on YOUR pc to keep your jailbreak.ppl like you shouldn't be jailbreaking in the first place let a friend or someone who knows what their doing,do it!I can jb in my sleep it's so easy & never never update thru apple that's the first golden rule ppl.

update : i reinstalled the libusb and find the "compatible" option but again im not sure my problem is the same . i jailbreak my iphhone with black ra1n ,its constantly rebooting when its turned off , does it going to stuck on recovery mode again after i use ur method or it will solve the entirely rebooting issue ?
quite with the thumbs down do some research on your phone it is a tetherd device this mean that you have new boot rom that also means that every time your phone dies or is rebooted that you have to run rain again------- you dont loose nothing just have to run rain twice and if you read when you did ran the first time is states for teatherd run upon reboot or restart

Nope I was downloading SBsettings n it crashed n went to the recovery screen then I tried blackra1n again then youtubed almost everyway to fix the loop
@SBpimpiin hate to tell you but you need to do my downgrade process then put fresh 3.1.2 back on then blackrain {Note if you depend on unlock you do not want to go to 3.1.3 now if you dont depend on unlock then stay at 3.1.2 and you have to have shsh to restore back to 3.1.2 check out the downgrade video once back at 3.1.2 then rejailbreak

also i just try to click 3gs option without turning of my iphone to see if it works some how and i got "reddy.exe" has stopped message .
