Damn best basketball program in the history of the game. Most NCAA titles, most players in the pros current and historically, and top 5 highest winning percentages in all of college basketball history. Go Bruins
Lets look at KU's losses. Texas- GREAT team. Oklahoma St.- Underrated, they were a TOUGH team, Texas had trouble with em. and KState- a tournament team with great inside presence, Beasley had a great game. UCLA had more losses than KU i think too. And if you think about it, in the OT. KU absolutely outplayed Memphis. Outplayed them on the inside. What if they hit 3s like they did all season? maybe it wouldnt have been so close.
ekyps3 you said what if UCLA loses Kevin Love what then? UCLA beat Kansas last year without Kevin Love, granted UCLA had Arron Afflalo. Next year UCLA gets arguably the most mature PG entering college in Jrue Holliday. Haven't heard of him? look him up. UCLA gets 2 McDonalds All Americans next year.
no ur rite i cant talk shit b-cuz last time ku and ucla played we did lose, and even tho i hate them...they are a good team but without love theres no way theyre a one seed
Until Kansas beats UCLA. They are not better than them so don't even talk. They played last year and UCLA showed them who was boss in a huge game, the same goes for Memphis.
Ummm im sorry. But, UCLA was OWNED by Memphis this year, Then Kansas beat Memphis, KU > UCLA, Memphis, UNC this year. the team that wins the championship is the best, FOR THAT SPECIFIC YEAR, so this year, KU was better than UCLA, no arguments.
But they beat them idiot, you dont be a dumbfuck. I believe memphis beat UCLA by... what was it something like 15 or 17, and KU and Memphis have practically the same game plan, stats pretty much IDENTICAL. You can make the argument. I'm sorry you didn't win the Championship, someone better did. KU beat UNC by 18, Memphis beat UCLA by 15/17 i think its 15. KU is better. Their game would kill UCLA just like Memphis did to UCLA.
You responded to a comment I made 4 months ago before they even played? What kinda dumb sh*t is that? That was the same Kansas team UCLA beat the year before. Memphis did beat Kansas, Memphis just blew it on the free throw line and Kansas reaped the reward. Like in baseball bases loaded, with 2 out and the team on defense is up 3-1 and the batter hits roller to the pitcher and the pitcher throws it into right field over the first baseman's head and all 3 runners score and they lose 4-3.
By all accounts, the game should have been over but was given away because the pitcher screwed it up. That's why Kansas is the winner and not Memphis. It was given to them, like it or not. Deal with it.
LOL. The game was not GIVEN to them. They had to TAKE the game. They took ADVANTAGE of missed free throws, ALOT Of teams can't do that, like KU last year against UCLA they couldnt take advantage of the chances they had. Please I could say UCLA had a bunch of lucky breaks that put away KU last year. Darren Collisons fade away 3? that pretty much finished the KU run. Luck is part of the game.
You're never the same team from the year before. Teams change. Kansas lost Wright. they shouldve lost, but no they went 37-3. Big 12 was better than Pac-10 this year. And please what a bullshit comparison, all 3 runners arent going to score, learn some baseball to, guarantee the right fielder will be on it and chuck it in to stop all 3 lol...
Also want to say, Texas beat UCLA, beat KU. But KU then beat texas. UCLA lost to Washington and USC too huh? One didnt make the tournament, the other lost in the first round. UCLA got away with a no call against A&M, they got alot of those, shouldve lost against Cal and stanford. UCLA wouldnt of even been a one seed this year. 3 times KU had to take advantage of something and they made the big shots down the stretch, thats the difference between a 15 pt loser and a national champion.
If USC beats UCLA in the tourny you will be able to find out how good it feels to beat your rival at their best sport when the other team is heavily favored. Will that happen? We will see, but USC might have to get pretty damn far in the tournament just to have a chance at UCLA depending on which bracket USC is in.
Whatever guys, basketball is traditionally UCLA's sport. That's kinda a historical given. But take a look at the Lexus Gauntlet standings as of right now. USC has dominated almost every sport, and we beat you guys at home in basketball when we're unranked and your number 4 or whatever. Yeah, that's an upset. And our second game was close until the very end too, even though admittedly OJ choked like your mom. Lets see what happens in the tournament shall we?
Every other sport? Last time I checked UCLA has more championships then USC so that claim is... interesting. You speak about beating UCLA in bball in the regular season as if it is a big deal, do I need to bring up the numbers 13 a 9? Last time I checked that had much more significance then USC's win at Pauley considering USC was ranked 2nd in the nation and destroyed their chances of a national championship. We will talk about an upset if USC beats UCLA in the tourny.
did you watch the first time USC played UCLA at UCLA, USC was favored soooooooooo much by the refs, so don't talk to me about bad officiating. UCLA beat USC on their own floor with decent officiating. USC blows in bball.
It is only basketball. The refs will never make a call at the end of the game. Jordan use to hook and push to win. See everyone in March Madness, where it all counts, Or does it?
That's the most obvious dive I've ever seen. They replayed it in slow motion on ESPN, you can clearly see that Shipp never touched the ball, making it a turnover. Falling down on your own isn't a foul. The last shot, however did appear to be out of bounds, but the head ref, McCabe, who criticized the call in the Stanford game said it was too close to call, so what can you do. Bottom line, if a team can't hold a double digit lead later in the 2nd half, they don't deserve to winm that's just sad.
The ball may travel over the CORNER of the backboard on a shot, pass or rebound, as long as it does NOT touch the back HALF of the backboard, facing out of bounds.
FIX!! Anyone see the stanford game? All ball block and they call a foul to give UCLA another chance. Stanford should have won the game. What a BS call to make with only 3 seconds left.
You are not allowed to jump into someone who is going for a layup. If he doesn't jump, maybe he gets no ball and Collison hits the basket. There was a clear advantage to jumping and a lot of body contact. That's the risk you take when you leave your feet as a defender.
It's amazing that people can watch this closely and think Anderson was mauled. He was cleanly stripped (the hand is only sitting on the back) and dives for the loose ball. Westbrook does touch the ball but Anderson knocks it out. Shipp is behind the play and never touches it, though he appears to from this angle.
Yes there may have been a foul there but where was the call a few seconds earlier when Cal inbounded to a player that was out of bounds or the many other missed calls and bad calls throughout the game. Pac-10 just has bad officiating as evidenced in many Pac-10 games throughout the season.
yea how bout ucla won and cal didnt!! your in pauley pavillion your not gonna get all the calls all game if your the road team. UCLA the most dominate ncaa team of all time.
I coul give a crap about these two teams and even I can see that UCLA a) got away with pushing the Cal player down and b) an illegal shot. I'm sure UCLA isthe better team but Cal got robbed in this one.
you can shoot from behind the board and not pass over the backboard ... you have to be both behind the board and up close to the board that it has to cross or pass over the backboard, and it clearly did not. Bruins won fair so get over it.
ok everyone needs to stop trying to take things away from ucla. they got the win and there is nothing anyone can do about it. if you think the bruins rely on bad calls of refs then your pretty stupid. they are a great team and will not have anymore of these close call wins and ben howland will whip them into shape and get it into their heads that they cant do this anymore so yea...
No, it is not here is the rule. NCAA Rule 7, Section 1, Article 3 states "The ball shall be out of bounds when it passes over the backboard from any direction."
We all know the rule, the question is did the ball pass over the backboard. The officials and my eyes tell me the ball didn't pass over the backboard. It cleared the height of the back board and was shot from the line, but passed clear of the board. Don't listen to the espn announcers ... use your eyes.
Wow! if a bad call lost the game for CAL you are an idiot because not only did the bruins have to come back, but does ANYONE notice that Love BUSTED a THREE pointer, he's a center, omg how can you let that happen
Bad calls happen throughout any game, but it's unfortunate that the officials blew a pivotal call so late in the game. The play against Ryan Anderson and Cal should've AT LEAST been reviewed, because even UCLA's coach admitted that his players fouled him. Amazing shot, but do people not realize that ANY shot from behind the backboard is illegal in the NCAA?? It's too bad that the game had to go down like that, but hopefully the refs will be better during the tourney.
Even if it was called a block against Stanford, UCLA would have the ball with 3 seconds so you can't say that they would have lost definitely. You know how many times there were no calls when Kevin Love was fouled in the game against Cal? Watch it and about every time he touched the ball he gets mauled. The fact of the matter is UCLA came back and beat those teams because they failed to finish the games.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
What a joke. There is clearly somethin up with these refs. A no call on the foul of Anderson in the corner. They then say it went off of him and give it to UCLA. The the shot that clearly went over the backboard gets counted. Then vs. Stanford the foul on the block. You can hear the difference between skin and ball and see that it was clean.
ok someone who was ACTUALLY at the game speaking now (and who can speak)... watch the game back and count the number of fouls, travels, and double dribbles that CAL got away with...and then watch the Stanford one and see if your opinion has been altered. If it hasn't- then yup you are still an idiot. Moute had 3 Bullshit fouls called on him when there was no contact with skin..how come you failed to mention that? Your logic is hollow and weak, and therefore will never be valid.
UCLA had already won the Pac-10 title, and Stanford lost to SC is ended 3 back, and Cal is known for choking, so let's move on to March Madness already
I m a basketball offcial and I am sorry but I have no respect for the offcials in these last two games I would never except bribes or money but I understand why people make those comments it is y i did because u cannot be a talented offcials and make calls like that their has to be something more.
A basketball official that doesn't know the difference between "accept" and "except". That level of retardation among "officials" makes the last couple of games make sense.
That is true I never said English was my best subject in school and you are correct. Next time I will not type my response at 1:00 am prior to going to bed. Also, my job is to work basketball games which has nothing to do with "accept" and "except" I call fouls and work games.
For the record Ryan Anderson was fouled no call and this is the Rule "NCAA Rule 7, Section 1, Article 3 states "The ball shall be out of bounds when it passes over the backboard from any direction." I got that straight from the story off of yahoo sports written about this game.
The fact of the matter, cball1985, is that you couldn't see if he got fouled. You are PRESUMING he got fouled based on the camera angle from behind the play. You actually saw now foul unless you are being really particular about Westbrook's arm on Anderson's back. Yes, Westbrook swiped down at the ball, but what did he hit? Do you know? Were you sitting right in front of the play? Because the refs were out of position and the cameras showed no conclusive evidence.
No ABC showed a camera angle where the UCLA played held the jersey prior to inbounding the pass. I did not see the entire game I came in while the offcials were reviewing the time on the clock at the end and while they were doing that ABC showed an angle where the UCLA player had a quick grab of the jersey which could be called a foul.
I am not a fan of any Pac 10 team, but how much is UCLA oaying these offcials, go back to Thursday night it was not a foul Stanford should have won. Then in this game not only should the winning shot not have counted, because the rule states if it travels over the backboard it will be ruled out and possesion to the other team. Also, they fouled Cal and the call was out of bounds to UCLA refs come on quit excepting the cash.
You win some. You lose some. Fact: UCLA has 28 wins - 3 losses. Winning this much isn't just luck...it's a habit. You can say that UCLA was the luckier one this time. However, in any given game bad calls are made on either side usu. equally. In this case a questionable call went in UCLA's favor. You take the win and move on!
How about 2, possibly 3 bad calls inside 10 seconds to play??? If ucla keeps thinking they can come back from deep in the waning moments in games, they are going to get smacked in the tournament. I can't wait. fucla
a rianbow is a shot with a high arch. kinda like when a short person who shoots over a tall person so he doesn't get block. some people naturally shot with high archs. a layup with a high arch is called a floater or reardorp sometimes... nice video
Watch ESPN. If the shot goes OVER the backside, it is out of bounds and no good. On the post-game show, they slowed it down and zoomed in, showing that the ball passed over the CORNER of the backboard, making it a fair shot, and thus not violating any rules.
The real issue though is that before the shot, it indeed was a foul against Ryan Anderson that the refs let go. The Pac-10 refs are among the worst in the country and need much better training.
The refs get criticized for making a call that they "weren't in position to see" against Stanford and then do not call a foul that they truly weren't in a position to see and still get criticized. Was it a foul?... probably. But it seems like, because both times it favored UCLA, that the refs deserve criticism.
True...and what's sad is they tried to make up for it by giving Cal an extra 0.6 seconds. 0.1 seconds is accurate. The announcers were still wrong by saying 0.4, because the ball was in the air. This is not football where the ball is out of bounds if it breaks the plane of the court, it's out when it hits the ground out of bounds.
no fuck you dumbass. You wanna talk about paying refs? Watch clips back from the game they had STOLEN away from them against USC on Jan 19. Then talk...little one.
haha ekyps3 u sound like a retard spelling deserve "diserve." who, in your opinion, should be a #1 seed then? Name 4 teams more worthy then UCLA and justify it or STFU.
How about Memphis, UNC, Kansas and Tennessee? This makes 2 games in a row against UCLA that the refs absolutely stole from the other team; UCLA looks vulnerable!
Stole? They shouldn't have even been in the game with 5 minutes left to go in both of them down by 9 in each. UCLA came back in both games and you can blame the refs all you want, but the fact of the matter is UCLA escaped with wins because of their ability to not give up and to continue to play the game. I agree with Memphis and UNC, but you can't definitively say that Kansas and Tenn deserve a number 1 over UCLA especially when Kansas and Tenn play in weaker conferences.
UCLA is a never give up team, no doubt. And down by 9 w/ 5 left is nothing. I've watched their last 3 games, and they've looked as beatable as they have all year. Goods had a clean block on Thursday called a foul, Collison makes the FTs to push it to OT, the missed foul on Anderson tonight allowed UCLA another opportunity.
The best thing about college basketball is that these games are actually played, instead of talked about, like college football. We can see how they do next week at Staples!
I agree that it will be interesting to see the games at staples... but I would just like to make the point that if the call on Thursday was called as a clean block instead of a foul, UCLA still would have had 2-3 seconds left meaning that they still would have a chance to tie or win in regulation. Therefore all arguments saying that cal should have definitely won the game are all speculation because UCLA would have had the ball and nobody knows what would have happened.
Agreed, but it's unfair to blame UCLA for calls that they receive from the refs. Oh well... the pac 10 tourny starts wed. and thursday UCLA could be playing against cal again if they can get by Washington. They might be put in the same place as last year when they upset the Bruins making them a 2 seed in the tourny.
In fact, "then" was used properly. A pear is nicer to the touch than a brillo pad, but if I eat a brillo pad then I am silly. If you don't think UCLA should be a #1 seed, then who?
It is a foul if you jump into someone while she is going for a layup. If the Stanford player did not jump, he may not have touched the ball at all. He jumped into Collison. This = foul.
There were calls going against UCLA all night vs. Stanford. Show me a camera angle that proves the foul vs. Cal. This is YouTube.
memphis, 1 loss; tennesse, beat memphis; UNC, 29-2...beat duke; and Kansas, i know this is gonna get a lot of heat but KU is number 1 when playing at their best and they have an all star playing bench (cole aldrich), plus almost everyone elso on their bench could start D-1. now like i said UCLA doesnt Deserve a one seed but they are a good team...with LOVE playing.
yeah rite now aparrently kansas is looking at the best "2" seed which is total crap because they could take UCLA ne day...and if UCLA loses kevin love then what?
all u can say...but ne way im done arguing i feel like a jackass already, cuz u no what they say arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympic even if you when...ur still retarded
wrong. shot counted because it did not pass over the backboard. Look again. It has the height to pass over and was shot from along the court line, but did not pass over ... it came slightly in front of the backboard.
All star team?

Not only did he foul him on the play with 17 ticks left but he also knocks the ball out of bounds
theMAKERofALL 3 years ago
where was the foul? anderson got stripped in the corner and lunged in front of the two Bruin players for the loose ball...
albertabears 3 years ago 3
yea how bout ucla won and cal didnt!! your in pauley pavillion your not gonna get all the calls all game if your the road team. UCLA the most dominate ncaa team of all time.
rewoplautriv 3 years ago
I coul give a crap about these two teams and even I can see that UCLA a) got away with pushing the Cal player down and b) an illegal shot. I'm sure UCLA isthe better team but Cal got robbed in this one.
geebagel 3 years ago
Yeah, it was a nice win, wasn't it? Go Bruins!

fast foul then a illiegal shot from behind the bourd......nice win!
ineedaname777777 3 years ago
you can shoot from behind the board and not pass over the backboard ... you have to be both behind the board and up close to the board that it has to cross or pass over the backboard, and it clearly did not. Bruins won fair so get over it.
LDCuervo22 3 years ago
ok everyone needs to stop trying to take things away from ucla. they got the win and there is nothing anyone can do about it. if you think the bruins rely on bad calls of refs then your pretty stupid. they are a great team and will not have anymore of these close call wins and ben howland will whip them into shape and get it into their heads that they cant do this anymore so yea...

is that behind the backboard shot allowed?
dheovlotn 3 years ago
No, it is not here is the rule. NCAA Rule 7, Section 1, Article 3 states "The ball shall be out of bounds when it passes over the backboard from any direction."
cball1985 3 years ago
We all know the rule, the question is did the ball pass over the backboard. The officials and my eyes tell me the ball didn't pass over the backboard. It cleared the height of the back board and was shot from the line, but passed clear of the board. Don't listen to the espn announcers ... use your eyes.
LDCuervo22 3 years ago
is that behind the backboard shot allowed?
dheovlotn 3 years ago
Wow! if a bad call lost the game for CAL you are an idiot because not only did the bruins have to come back, but does ANYONE notice that Love BUSTED a THREE pointer, he's a center, omg how can you let that happen
CAL DESERVED TO LOSE!!!!
emanpac2 3 years ago
Bad calls happen throughout any game, but it's unfortunate that the officials blew a pivotal call so late in the game. The play against Ryan Anderson and Cal should've AT LEAST been reviewed, because even UCLA's coach admitted that his players fouled him. Amazing shot, but do people not realize that ANY shot from behind the backboard is illegal in the NCAA?? It's too bad that the game had to go down like that, but hopefully the refs will be better during the tourney.

y'all are just jealous cuz the University of Second Children isn't number 1 like they dominate in football.
GO BRUINS!!!!! All the way to the final four!!!
akbear78 3 years ago
Even if it was called a block against Stanford, UCLA would have the ball with 3 seconds so you can't say that they would have lost definitely. You know how many times there were no calls when Kevin Love was fouled in the game against Cal? Watch it and about every time he touched the ball he gets mauled. The fact of the matter is UCLA came back and beat those teams because they failed to finish the games.
thehackrz 3 years ago
u guys are just mad at ucla success
go Bruins!!!!

All i can say is what a joke.
fghkjh 3 years ago
ok someone who was ACTUALLY at the game speaking now (and who can speak)... watch the game back and count the number of fouls, travels, and double dribbles that CAL got away with...and then watch the Stanford one and see if your opinion has been altered. If it hasn't- then yup you are still an idiot. Moute had 3 Bullshit fouls called on him when there was no contact with skin..how come you failed to mention that? Your logic is hollow and weak, and therefore will never be valid.
SaraBFan 3 years ago
UCLA had already won the Pac-10 title, and Stanford lost to SC is ended 3 back, and Cal is known for choking, so let's move on to March Madness already

I m a basketball offcial and I am sorry but I have no respect for the offcials in these last two games I would never except bribes or money but I understand why people make those comments it is y i did because u cannot be a talented offcials and make calls like that their has to be something more.
cball1985 3 years ago
A basketball official that doesn't know the difference between "accept" and "except". That level of retardation among "officials" makes the last couple of games make sense.
RPGChai 3 years ago
That is true I never said English was my best subject in school and you are correct. Next time I will not type my response at 1:00 am prior to going to bed. Also, my job is to work basketball games which has nothing to do with "accept" and "except" I call fouls and work games.
cball1985 3 years ago
For the record Ryan Anderson was fouled no call and this is the Rule "NCAA Rule 7, Section 1, Article 3 states "The ball shall be out of bounds when it passes over the backboard from any direction." I got that straight from the story off of yahoo sports written about this game.
cball1985 3 years ago
The fact of the matter, cball1985, is that you couldn't see if he got fouled. You are PRESUMING he got fouled based on the camera angle from behind the play. You actually saw now foul unless you are being really particular about Westbrook's arm on Anderson's back. Yes, Westbrook swiped down at the ball, but what did he hit? Do you know? Were you sitting right in front of the play? Because the refs were out of position and the cameras showed no conclusive evidence.
thehackrz 3 years ago
No ABC showed a camera angle where the UCLA played held the jersey prior to inbounding the pass. I did not see the entire game I came in while the offcials were reviewing the time on the clock at the end and while they were doing that ABC showed an angle where the UCLA player had a quick grab of the jersey which could be called a foul.
cball1985 3 years ago
but the ball didn't pass over the back board.... look again.
LDCuervo22 3 years ago
I am not a fan of any Pac 10 team, but how much is UCLA oaying these offcials, go back to Thursday night it was not a foul Stanford should have won. Then in this game not only should the winning shot not have counted, because the rule states if it travels over the backboard it will be ruled out and possesion to the other team. Also, they fouled Cal and the call was out of bounds to UCLA refs come on quit excepting the cash.
cball1985 3 years ago
these last two ucla games have been nothing but controversial

Wow... rock on Bruins!!!
CheezyShadow 3 years ago 2
You win some. You lose some. Fact: UCLA has 28 wins - 3 losses. Winning this much isn't just luck...it's a habit. You can say that UCLA was the luckier one this time. However, in any given game bad calls are made on either side usu. equally. In this case a questionable call went in UCLA's favor. You take the win and move on!
djntx 3 years ago 2
How about 2, possibly 3 bad calls inside 10 seconds to play??? If ucla keeps thinking they can come back from deep in the waning moments in games, they are going to get smacked in the tournament. I can't wait. fucla

a rianbow is a shot with a high arch. kinda like when a short person who shoots over a tall person so he doesn't get block. some people naturally shot with high archs. a layup with a high arch is called a floater or reardorp sometimes... nice video

Mynigga Richard Simmons made a tight shot .. man it was great .. love yah .. smooches and deuces
youngsaiah4 3 years ago
However, I'm a UCLA student, so GO BRUINS!
longbordr52 3 years ago
The refs get criticized for making a call that they "weren't in position to see" against Stanford and then do not call a foul that they truly weren't in a position to see and still get criticized. Was it a foul?... probably. But it seems like, because both times it favored UCLA, that the refs deserve criticism.
thehackrz 3 years ago
True...and what's sad is they tried to make up for it by giving Cal an extra 0.6 seconds. 0.1 seconds is accurate. The announcers were still wrong by saying 0.4, because the ball was in the air. This is not football where the ball is out of bounds if it breaks the plane of the court, it's out when it hits the ground out of bounds.
But GO BRUINS!
SnowbordrWRX 3 years ago
Fuck the bruins. what are you guys paying the refs. 2 straight bull shit games now

no fuck you dumbass. You wanna talk about paying refs? Watch clips back from the game they had STOLEN away from them against USC on Jan 19. Then talk...little one.
SaraBFan 3 years ago
haha ekyps3 u sound like a retard spelling deserve "diserve." who, in your opinion, should be a #1 seed then? Name 4 teams more worthy then UCLA and justify it or STFU.
thehackrz 3 years ago
it's THAN, not THEN. Christ almighty!
How about Memphis, UNC, Kansas and Tennessee? This makes 2 games in a row against UCLA that the refs absolutely stole from the other team; UCLA looks vulnerable!
entr0pic 3 years ago
Stole? They shouldn't have even been in the game with 5 minutes left to go in both of them down by 9 in each. UCLA came back in both games and you can blame the refs all you want, but the fact of the matter is UCLA escaped with wins because of their ability to not give up and to continue to play the game. I agree with Memphis and UNC, but you can't definitively say that Kansas and Tenn deserve a number 1 over UCLA especially when Kansas and Tenn play in weaker conferences.
thehackrz 3 years ago
UCLA is a never give up team, no doubt. And down by 9 w/ 5 left is nothing. I've watched their last 3 games, and they've looked as beatable as they have all year. Goods had a clean block on Thursday called a foul, Collison makes the FTs to push it to OT, the missed foul on Anderson tonight allowed UCLA another opportunity.
The best thing about college basketball is that these games are actually played, instead of talked about, like college football. We can see how they do next week at Staples!
entr0pic 3 years ago 2
I agree that it will be interesting to see the games at staples... but I would just like to make the point that if the call on Thursday was called as a clean block instead of a foul, UCLA still would have had 2-3 seconds left meaning that they still would have a chance to tie or win in regulation. Therefore all arguments saying that cal should have definitely won the game are all speculation because UCLA would have had the ball and nobody knows what would have happened.
thehackrz 3 years ago
Yeah, of course it's speculation. That's the problem with bad officiating. The PAC10 officials drive me crazy!
entr0pic 3 years ago
Agreed, but it's unfair to blame UCLA for calls that they receive from the refs. Oh well... the pac 10 tourny starts wed. and thursday UCLA could be playing against cal again if they can get by Washington. They might be put in the same place as last year when they upset the Bruins making them a 2 seed in the tourny.
thehackrz 3 years ago
half of the big 12 is going to be in the march madness tournament...and they play againt tthe best player in the NCAA
ekyps3 3 years ago
In fact, "then" was used properly. A pear is nicer to the touch than a brillo pad, but if I eat a brillo pad then I am silly. If you don't think UCLA should be a #1 seed, then who?
It is a foul if you jump into someone while she is going for a layup. If the Stanford player did not jump, he may not have touched the ball at all. He jumped into Collison. This = foul.
There were calls going against UCLA all night vs. Stanford. Show me a camera angle that proves the foul vs. Cal. This is YouTube.
chaoticion 3 years ago
ok I agree with you...but could you explain the brillo pad thing?
imrealldum 3 years ago
That was an example of "then" and "than" being used properly. I said it in defense of someone who was attacked for their usage of "then".
chaoticion 3 years ago
umm. No sorry THEN was correct? Go back to 8th grade

memphis, 1 loss; tennesse, beat memphis; UNC, 29-2...beat duke; and Kansas, i know this is gonna get a lot of heat but KU is number 1 when playing at their best and they have an all star playing bench (cole aldrich), plus almost everyone elso on their bench could start D-1. now like i said UCLA doesnt Deserve a one seed but they are a good team...with LOVE playing.

bigman10101 3 years ago
Right on bigman I am not a fan of any PAc 10 team and the rule book clearly states that the shot should not have counted.
cball1985 3 years ago
wrong. shot counted because it did not pass over the backboard. Look again. It has the height to pass over and was shot from along the court line, but did not pass over ... it came slightly in front of the backboard.
