DON"T BUY THIS CAR!!!!!!! I drove mine for less than 500 Kms before it broke down. THe dealer has had the car in the garage for 7 days now (less than 2 weeks old) and can not fix the problem......They are refusing me the request for another sorento.......STAY FAR AWAY FROM KIA SORENTO!!!!!

@Pheyup33, Didn't the car come with the 10 Year/100,000 mile warranty? Call them up and explain what the problem is and take it in so they can have a look at it. Better to get it looked at early than to wait and have to pay for it yourself after the warranty runs out. Good Luck!!!
The biggest CON for me is the Road Noise. Yes, I test drove prior to purchase. I guess all the roads around the dealership were feshly paved and the I did not notice the road noise. Man you sure can tell when your on a old bumppy road, you hear it all in this car. What makes me sick is that I got a 2008 Ford Ranger that I paid $10,000 for that has hardly any road noise at all, well compared to my Sorento. All in all, I enjoy the car, well, except for that dam aggervating LOUD road noise.
Con's continue: I then got on the interstate and the only warning light on at this point was the air bag warning light. Pulled into the rest area and left the car running. As I opened the driver door the anti skid , down hill assist and air bag warning lights cam back on, I'm like, "What the Hell does the door have to do with that BS".
Con's: While driving around in Mobile all the warning lights came on and I lost my speedometer for about 5 minutes. I regained my speedometer yet all the warning lights remained on, I pulled over and turned the vehicle off. I then restarted and most of the lights went off except for the anti skid , down hill assist and air bag lights. Kept driving and went to refuel and notice the lights had gone off except for the air bag lights, I can deal with this, I guess.
Pro's and Con's of my Sorento EX thus far, we have been driving it four months now. Pro's: Perfect for what I need, the third row seats have come in handy here and there, glad I opted for them. Great Power from the 3.5L V-6 and love the 6 speed auto trans. Never thought I would use a heated seat but very glad it has them, nice on those cold mornings.

I had the opportunity to drive one at their plant in Georgia, my first time driving a Kia or a X-over, but I liked it. Interior rattled a creaked a bit and it reminded you it was a Kia, but overall I liked it. Not a bad car to drive for its size, I'd recommend it.

@ExmanBthumZ sometimes when you correct people you should really do your research first. Yes you are correct it is a catalytic converter and one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say Cadillac. but another one of my pet peeves is when people correct others with bogus info. Lets first try Google. I just replaced both my oxygen sensors in my dodge neon 4 days ago. Ill assume that the parts I bought aren't made up. So as far as the "not Oxygen" part of your comment....you are sadly mistaken.
The sticker price of this and the sticker price of the sportage he recently tested are near same. I beleive Kia is stepping up.
