No, he was in a company or something and did some freelance claymation work, including a segment for the Chevy Chase show. He did a 5 minute some shark snow attack scene in his garage that I had to see in my art class.

He ended up dying young in a car accident though. :C

To be honest, I never met him. I learned of his works from an art teacher of mine. I think I got it a bit mixed up because Fred Stuhr (the claymator) died in the 90's at a young age.
