  • What about the whitebalance in night photography?

  • for the traffic light picture at 7:40 why is your aperature at f22? Wouldnt something lower be better because it lets more light in?

Or did you purposely make it f22 so you can make your shutter speed longer?

    Thanks!

  • Gday mate, Im the dude from the PMA exhibit where you were doing night photography on the ferris wheel, I was the newb using my flimsy camcorder tripod for my canon 50d, got some goood shots though, bought a great tripod the next day and have just bought a cable shutter realease, might see ya there this yr, cheers!

It's great that you have bought a good quality tripod, hopefully you have found it to provide much better support than you had with your previous tripod?

  • I have zero experience but have a really nice camera ;D

    These are very informative.

  • Thanks for the comment....

Purchase a reliable tripod and take some night photography shots, this is a great way to learn...

Basic Night Photography is very easy to learn, you just need to practice, have an understanding of your cameras functions and have a basic understanding of shutter speed, ISO /ASA and exposure.
