That's because this version is germany and all german games with brutal elements are censored.

In Comand and Conquer: Generals all Units are Robots and have Robot Voices. Before they changed this, the version was on the black list and not allowed in germany.

Everyone who got the german version can confirm this. If you get shot in Portal or Episode Two, you see black blood, Combine have grey blood, etc.

And Team Fortress 2 is just like this video, except there's no blood (even black) at all.
